$25.00 for a transfer from a dead server to a populated one to properly play a game is predatory tactic.

You chose your server. That other people are no longer there doesn’t make it a ‘predatory’ tactic by any stretch, they left as it was their choice.

Save for when Blizzard decides to open free transfers for whatever the reason, the cost of a transfer has always been $25. If you do not want to pay for it, then you can either take the chance and wait to see if a free transfer situation opens up for you or you can just choose another server and start fresh. You have options, even if they’re not what you may want to accept.

I understand it could take up to 24 hours for this to go through so I’m not overly concerned, I am more so annoyed that it costs 25 bucks for a transfer

It used to be that it could take up to 72 hours. So the time has gone down, if you really want to debate the time issue.

Back in 2012. They’ve since hired a whole bunch more. Actually, until the pandemic, they had actually increased the ways you could get in touch with support. Actually, it’s been said more times than I can even think of here in CS. They know that they’re human and can make mistakes. None of this matters though. Either open another appeal or don’t. Those really are your options.
