Please note, this is on a low lvl alt, I have not been hacked.
Logged into my lvl 43 DK alt today and all bags and all gear are gone. Anyone else having this problem?
I also got a bunch of achievement notifications when I logged in
None of my other characters seem affected
I did not have the issue of losing bags, but I found that characters rolled late in Legion got a slew of achievements. Characters rolled earlier or more recently did not see this.
Yes a level 17 alt that hadn’t logged on for few months ended up naked in Stormwind with no bags and no garrison hearthstone.
Did a few quests and then later this evening when re-logged had my heirloom gear and garrison hearthstone back in my reappearing bags. Hadn’t bothered with a ticket so must be some random thing and a few others in general chat had similar issues.
No disappearances, but I did notice that inventory in carried bags and in the bank had been reorganized in a manner not anything like I would use. For instance, all the currency from world events was sorted out of the bag for them, armor sets I have for doing low level transmog runs (speed enchants galore) was spread around, things like that. Based on the fact I saw no update during loading, I am pretty sure that there had been no hotfix applied. However, I do wonder if there was a rollback during the problem the servers had on Weds/Thurs. Why this might re-organize character inventories is beyond my ability to imagine.
Having the same thing on two alts. Not wanting to log on with anyone important…
This happened to me on the character I consider my 2nd main. So it wasn’t some minor loss. Probably my 2nd most played character in the game.
Eagerly awaiting some kind of rollback or response. I’ve lost over a decade of sentimental items, kept mail, gifts, BoE’s, memories & enchanted items.
Inventory, Bags, including the bags in the slots, Bank, and Equipment all gone.
Including items that can’t be destroyed such as main story quest specific legendary items that clogged up said bank.
Process for me was Logging into the character upon Resubbing for DF, posting some auctions of Shadowland mats to get rid of them while I still can, and then relogging to check on my other characters.
When I eventually returned to my Priest (the character in question) everything was gone. I had mail from the actions I had sold in the meantime, but my bags were empty. My bags themselves, the containers, were gone. My Bank is empty. the only thing that didn’t empty itself is void storage somewhat ironically.
That’s how mine is also. All bank bags and items. All inventory bags and items except for the anniversary celebration package and their money. Character armor is gone as well and she is naked on the armory.
This happened to me this morning on a lvl 50 Warlock alt on Scarlet Crusade server. I was waiting for Sha of Anger to spawn and went afk while taking a phone call. Completely forgot about my character and by the time I checked back in, I was at character select screen (looking normal). I logged back in and noticed all of the achievements firing and thought that was weird. Then I noticed my bags and gear were completely gone. I noticed I had new mail so I flew to mailbox to see if all my gear had been mailed to me, but I just had all the old Anniversary Mailings resent to me.
This was a character I had created during Legion I’m pretty sure. I had Anniversary emails dating back to 11th Anniversary resent to me.
UPDATE: after server maintenance the issue seems to have resolved itself

I opened another thread (and a ticket) before I saw this one. Just happened to me. Druid is now buck-naked in Dalaran, no gear and no bags.
