Simple. Show which character has something to pick up in the vault, like the mail icon.
I know I am not the only one with alts who run M+ of various levels and can’t always keep track of which one did something this week or not.
It would also save the servers a lot of “log in/out” traffic? It can’t be good to have people constantly logging in and out a dozen times trying to remember who did what, right?
I think the issue is that it’s not that simple. The mail icon was cluster of problems and even had to be disabled for a while before they could finally get it working. And even then, it doesn’t always work.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against the idea at all. I think it would really help. But I don’t think it’s as easy as we think it is.
I’m all for this, as someone who throws alts at LFR as a means of building them to an at least decent ilvl for farming purposes; however, I must agree that the mail one is still fairly buggy even now. I imagine them having done it successfully with the mail icon can act as a simple starting point, but there’s probably much more to it behind the scenes.
It’s a neat idea, I like it. But we have a whole new character selection screen coming in War Within. Maybe this is already in the works? Or just a general notification symbol like an exclamation mark so you know there is mail, or a vault, or what ever else you need to be informed of.
For once, I agree. However, also for once, I don’t care how hard it is. It’s a basic feature that, while minor, would have a net positive for the community.
ALL IN FOR ICONS!!! lol
Yeah, maybe we should ask for both. They could fix the mail icon and get the vault icon up and running with it.
SOLUTIONS, BABY!! YEAH!
Like I said, I completely agree— my only fear is that since character select has been bugged since the mail icon, it may completely implode with a Vault one too.
mmore like…freeze…eh? Blizzard? Get it?
GET IT?
DO YOU GET IT? lol no im bored. gonna go play my priest and keep this going. probably move it to the actual suggestions thing after I get a better feel of how people think about it.
Not a lot of feed back yet.
