How does the character search on the website work? If I do a search on a name I want on my server. It comes up with only 3 results. None of them are on my server, But yet the name is taken on my server as well as others?
Also, I see people with names on there that I want, But on my server it says That name is restricted? How is that possible?
Don’t expect it to work. It’s not something Blizz cares about so it’s buggy and broken half the time.

It uses the armory. Problem is, if you don’t log onto the said character for a given time (it’s pretty long, but people make lvl 1 alts to save names for later) or its below level 10, the armory doesn’t show or recognize it.
