I’m reading now where they posted it would be disabled. My bad for not reading it earlier…and I didn’t really pay attention since I figured it’d always be there.
I’m posting this in hopes I may have overlooked where they gave a time frame of it coming back up…or if there has been an update. If there has can someone please point me in that direction. Thank you.

My understanding is that it was taken down to ensure no issues with the introduction of warbands. So they’ll likely wait until after the official launch (which will bring in many players who don’t bother returning early for the prepatch) to turn it back on. Maybe with the Season 1 reset? Total speculation though.
They probably should have put a warning on the Delete Confirmation window instead of just a tooltip on the restore button, honestly.
Or did they do that? I guess I don’t know, since I’ve avoided deleting anything since I knew the restore system was down.
It’s my fault I didn’t read it before hand, and I really didn’t think I’d want to restore this particular character. With how fast the leveling is of pre-patch I may just re-roll it honestly.
No confirmation on deletion, I been destroying all my low level alts left and right. I now have a clean list without so much clutter.
It says a few weeks in the announcement about it being disabled. Probably shouldn’t expect it until after TWW is well underway.
