Character Restore freezes and crashes the game

Once I click on the “Restore Deleted Character” icon I get the “Retrieving character list” notice and then it immediately freezes. After a few minutes I get the “World of Warcraft is not responding” noticed and just choose to close it.

Also, my restore list mostly consists of characters deleted before the Warband feature. But there are some post-Warband update as well.

Forgot to add that this is on Dalaran-US server.

I’m having the exact same issue on Eitrigg NA. BlizzCS Amaericas said I had to make sure I was logging in fast enough and that there were a lot of players using the service…but just tried again at 330 in the morning. Same issue.

Have the same issue but I can do it on other realms just not my main my guess is maybe cause on my main realm I have like 50+ deleted characters.
