Character Randomly Spinning

For 4 days now my character just randomly spins doing 360’s. It happens more often when I enter a group event like a raid or dungeon. I can only move by holding right click and moving carefully. Then I have to spam press the directional keys w, a, s, d to get it to stop for sometimes 30 seconds or a few minutes. I have contacted support and they said to to go to bug report if the problem continues. I cannot enjoy/play the game like this. Below are all of the steps I have tried including disabling all addons. Nothin is working.

Please retest the game’s behaviour after following each set of steps below.
• Disable Mouse Sensitivity

  1. Open the Interface menu
  2. Click Mouse in the list on the left
  3. Make sure Enable Mouse Sensitivity is unchecked.

• Disable Max Foreground FPS

  1. Open the System menu
  2. Click Advanced in the list on the left
  3. Uncheck the box next to Max Foreground FPS

• Disable Raw Mouse Cursor

  1. Launch World of Warcraft and log into a character
  2. Type /console rawMouseEnable 0 into your chat box and press enter.
  3. If this does not work, reverse the change by typing /console rawMouseEnable 1 into your chat box and pressing enter.

• Change the USB Refresh rate/Polling rate
If you have dedicated mouse software installed:

  1. Exit World of Warcraft
  2. Open your mouse software
  3. Set the Polling rate/USB Refresh rate to 125

• Disable Fullscreen Optimizations/Override DPI scaling

  1. Open your World of Warcraft Installation folder (you can open it directly from the Blizzard App under Options > Show in Explorer)
  2. Right-click on the game executable (Wow.exe)
  3. Select Properties
  4. Open the compatibility tab
  5. Check Disable fullscreen optimizations
  6. Check Override high DPI scaling behavior
  7. Set ‘Scaling performed by’ to Application
  8. Click Apply and OK.

probably should have tried a UI reset first
(not the same as disabling addons)

This seems to have fixed the issue for now! Thank you!
