I’m furious that you wouldn’t change and I’m furious that I’m participating in spite of my demands not being met.
What’s more, I’m going to to do it seriously, so that you feel terrible.
-Enekie is from Darkshore. Her mother, a Priestess of Elune, hooked up with her father, a drunken drifter ne’er-do-well, while in Ashenvale and she retreated to the Zoram Strand to raise the child. She left home not long after reaching maturity and has not spoken to her mother since.
-Enekie is exclusively self-interested and is much more likely to resort to larceny, cowardly fleeing or whining and crying if it’ll help her get her way. The sole exception is for a handful of people she happens to have history with, for whom she’ll do multiple feats–but mostly larceny, fleeing, whining and crying.
-Enekie is an accomplished chef and refuses to cook for anyone or herself.
-Enekie is much more likely to try to avoid human contact. If she can acquire the information via theft or hands-off bribery, she will. When pressed, she’ll poison someone and withhold the antidote until she gets what she wants–she’s only forgotten to give said antidote twice.
-Enekie gets along with most bugs. She finds their mono-thought minds very soothing and sometimes relaxes watching ants march or beetles roll dung.
-Enekie finds candy buckets that have been left out with signs that say “please take one” and takes the whole bucket. She is rarely dressed up for this.
-Enekie has no pets because the only animal she gets along with is cats and she hates cats.
-Enekie is obsessive, above all else, and will exist mainly as a lazy sponge and drain on everyone until she finds something she’s very interested in, at which point she will pursue it to the exclusion of everyone else.
Alright, Sinothyr Skyfire, A.K.A Bremuleth Autumnriver. Let’s do this:
Bremuleth is originally from Ashenvale but spent much of her life in and around Darnassus training and later working as a blacksmith.
Other than being a Death Knight she simply likes hurting people and has so in life as well. She also enjoys the potential physical challenge of combat.
She has always seen blacksmithing as an artform and treats it accordingly, taking her time in her work and going through great pains to gather the ideal materials. She’s fond of elaborate engravings and mineral inlays, making many of her works arguably quite gaudy. She’s also likely to lose her shiz at instances of mistreated or neglected weapons and armor.
If the person is physically with her, make a lightly veiled demand, followed by physical coercion if the former fails. Otherwise, if it’s something that can be physically obtained from somewhere, just take it…by any means.
She’s fond of spiders.
I once thought of having get naked and play dead to scare people. That’s close enough, I think.
One nameless spider. Occasionally it resides in her body.
Vanity, sadism, individualism and a minor tinge of mixed macabre and sultry behavior. She delights in making others, especially strangers, pained or uncomfortable, generally does as she pleases and tends to prefer a somewhat teasing kind of tone when speaking with others, though the latter has waned in recent years.
As many as one can throw at her, until boredom sets in.
I was gonna wait a bit longer before doing this but…whatever. Zhaoyang Cloudpaw, let’s go:
Born and raised in Mandori Village on the Wandering Isle; one of my few Isle Pandaren characters.
Self-defense, self-improvement and to some minor extent fun.
Some might mistake her for a musician for reasons I’m choosing not to elaborate on. Otherwise, she tells stories. She doesn’t write them, just collects and regurgitates them.
Mostly likely she’d simply ask nicely and explain why the info is important. I haven’t thought of any alternative methods. Afterall, who would deny a kindly unassuming Pandaren woman?
Cats probably, or at least they would be if she wasn’t afraid of them.
Not willingly.
Maybe someday.
Overall, I’d imagine perseverance most defines Zhao. Much of her life has been devoted to overcoming her handicap and living up to the legacy of her ancestors despite it.
For the meme, Panda Express. In actuality, probably Jollibee.
That largely depends on how much noise they’re making.
That actually is one of the things I’ve purposefully left ambiguous for Gen’tarn. Krenk and his brothers went on a quest to learn who their parents were and it nearly destroyed them learning they were Bonechewers, not Warsong or Frost Wolf or a more respectable Clan heritage. Gen was born post-Liberation from the Camps, so his parentage is difficult to pin down, especially since he was orphaned very young during the Chaos Wars.
As far as he’s concerned, he is Gen’tarn, son of Krenk, brother of Aggran and Khonn, mate of Sheena and father of Geela, and that’s more than enough for him.
Oh boy, that’s a long one. TL:DR mode it is.
Was a young boy, found to be a shaman. Long lost uncle showed up, papa Krenk was delighted to find him and more than happy for family to help train Gen … Uncle Jhar’rick just happened to have turned to Dark Shamanism in his wandering and had created a rather unsettling ritual to tear the shamanistic ‘potential’ out of a victim and add it to his own to gain more power, similar to consuming and binding an Elemental Spirit.
It worked, Jhar bailed and left Gen chained to a cave wall since he was ‘useless’ now, and it took Krenk a few days to track the cave down and find his son. This started a long-running battle between the Dark Shaman and the Warrior, and said Warrior’s friends, which resulted in the Dark Shaman being killed multiple times but always coming back as something worse due to the blasphemous nature of his unique brand of dark magic.
Gen served in the Northrend Wars as a scout and tracker, very embittered and angry because of what had happened to him and feeling slighted every time somebody felt pity for him … and found a Harpy hatchling kicked out of her nest by her elder sisters, felt pity for the hatchling and had an epiphany about why he was being pitied and took the hatchling with him back to base to see her cared for … and Sheena joined the story.
Gen started fighting more for doing the right thing and helping others afterwards rather than just being an edgy, angry sprogg and after eventually returning to a Shamanistic state via far too many plot points, chooses to heal rather than fight unless absolutely necessary, and fights to heal not just the wounded, but the scars in society and between the races of the Horde, and when possible, between the Alliance and the Horde, because the Spirits do not discriminate and if he is to follow in their example, neither should he …
Gen’tarn could not carry a tune to save his life. He plays the hand-drums quite well, however, and is teaching his harpy daughter how to do so as well. His mate, Sheena, is much less amused at this turn of event because she just wants to sleep.
Offer a trade of service for information, or gold, or some other favor. Violence is the last resort, he’ll turn to thievery or some other form of leverage before reaching for a weapon, but if lives hang in the balance and you’re holding out despite knowing this, then all bets are off.
The riding wolves of the Orcs. A close second is snow-owls because it reminds him of Sheena and Geela, who are both arctic harpies and quite fluffy as a result.
He didn’t before, but Geela is mad for the holiday, so Gen dresses up as a yeti and lets Geela ride around on his head and shoulders. Sheena dresses up as a Sin’dorei.
He had several hunting companions at one stage, but lost many to the long-running fight with his Dark Shaman uncle and the others got old and became glorified house-pets. His riding wolf, a golden-brown Worg (the leather-worker mount from the Draenor Expansion) with the personality of a golden retriever and no concept of how big it is, insists it is a lap-dog.
Hope. That no matter how difficult things are, so long as you keep striving for something better, eventually things will turn around, even if it isn’t in the way you wanted it to do so.
He’s mad for Pandaren cooking. If it comes with noodles, rice or steamed vegetables and dumplings, he’ll eat it.
If there’s a way out and nobody is in harm’s way, he’ll just polymorph the lion into a frog and run away, there’s no need to fight such a proud creature. If somebody’s in danger or the lion is a man-eater? Its going into the ground.
If its a whole dang Pride of lions? Maybe two or three before he’s pulled down, if he can’t use the Elements to even the odds.
I don’t even know what that is, so no, Gen’tarn cannot do an olle.
Sarsi, Sarsia or Sarsiaparila Ogden (she/her) is one of three children of Elizabeth Ogden. Twin sister of Resa Ogden (she/her) and younger sister of her AFAB transmasc non-binary brother Ali Ogden (he/they). They are Stromic by birth, from a little town in North Arathi known as Dabyrie.
She is Shamanistic warriors, fighting with heavy broadsword strikes and the blessing of Therazane, granting her the power of earth as well as the ability to turn herself to stone. Her build LOOKS like she can wield those weapons, she is incredibly toned with broad shoulders, biceps and stomach. She looks more like the orc model than the human.
Sarsi has an amazingly melodic singing voice and is a master of highland dances, her Spiral dance is a wild, circling dance typically performed in ritual in Arathi in a circle with other Sisters of the spiral.
Hallow’s End? She celebrates the time when the dead most easily speak to their living descendants by dressing in the ancient Arabic tribe garb and beckoning the spirits of those to answer questions she might have. They do not have to answer, and like the spirits of the elements, their interactions are consensual and never coerced.
Sarsi’s girlfriend raises foxes so you could say by extension Sarsi also has a pet fox. Bred and takes in Adathi for hunting though rely used for hunting by the couple. These foxes are well cared for and spoiled.
“How many lions will Therazane the revered Stonemother grant me the strength to fight?” Sarsi asks.
That isn’t even a deep dive into who Sarsi is completely, just a corsoury answering of a few of those questions.
Skyva was born, raised and still calls home the outskirts of Thelsamar.
He only fights when it is absolutely necessary to defend himself or others who cannot. He instead prefers to heal.
Skyva is not very adept at art nor is he musically inclined but he can hang a spoon off the end of his nose.
He has two pets that are always by his side, an owl named Jack who is usually perched on his shoulder and a red squirrel named Ginger who is always hitching a ride in the satchel slung over Skyva’s left shoulder.
I cannot do an ollie due to an old foot injury I sustained during a game of lawn darts.
How artistic is your character? Do they paint, sing, write poetry?
Not even a little.
Someone has information your character wants, how do they get it?
Venom-dipped arrowheads are super persuasive, as is a bitey hunter pet.
What is your character’s favourite animal?
Raptors.
Does your character dress up for Hallow’s End?
ALWAYS.
Does your character have any pets?
Too many.
What core trait(s) define your character?
Surly pessimism.
What fast food chain does your character prefer over all others.
A pirate-themed fried fish franchise run by Goblins; they immediately pop up anywhere the Horde goes, including active war zones. It’s a sort of horrifying mashup of Long John Silver’s, Hooters, and those super tacky themed restaurants where all the staff have to dress up and use fake pirate lingo/accents, with some bonus Waffle House vibes (all the staff are trained in a proprietary hand-to-hand combat method that heavily incorporates frying pans).
Yes, I’ve given this way too much thought and no, I have no regrets.
How many lions can your character fight?
Lions are friends; Ryka would never.
The Lion Expedition was Sarsi’s first theater as that is when she turned 18. She and her girlfriend both signed up to what they thought was gathering resources in the wake of the Shattering.
She was not bothered by the sha because Sarsi, being blessed by the spirits of earth, was already extensively emotionally mature and able to control how she felt.
The negative sha basically had no influence over her.
More troubling was what she discovered when there. And that was that Pandaria was already occupied. This fact did not deter the Alliance or the Horde in their imperialist mission subjugating the native Pandaren or even war criming each other.
Watching the Admiral order ofcs be shot for the crime of swimming to shore was only the tip of a very large ice berg that led to Sarsi and her girlfriend deserting the Alliance forces.
In Kun’lai they met an orc from the Warsong clan who similarly deserted Garrosh’s forces.
Together they sought out Vol’jin’s rebellion and worked to free Orgrimmar from Garrosh’s iron grip. For this act of service the orc granted Sarsi an Orcish name.
Lohn’osh, meaning “Hero’s Heart” for aiding her people in a way that would never come to aid her own home of Stromgarde. Putting everything important to her aside for the sake of Orgrimmar showed the true conviction of Sarsi’s character.
