Character Questionnaire!

I have thought of a questionnaire to answer in the spirit of one’s character to help flesh and develop, to assist and help in diving deep into the character. I hope to see a lot of answers and interesting insight from people!

My main’s name is Musje, though none but her would know it, as even in the Scourge it was never really asked of her. The elf does go by Bishop though, a name she took from butchering a Scarlet Bishop many Crusaders mentioned punished them as their standard for pain. Bishop isn’t very tall, even for an elf, sitting at 5’9, an inch or two shorter then most elves she grew up with, her short bobbed hair is an almost luminescent cobalt, complimenting her glowing eyes rather well. The ex knight is rather sturdily built, her arms, shoulders, and legs not even budging when she moves, however due to her diet when she lived in Northrend, she did retain some fat on her stomach and in her face, not enough to debilitate her in combat, but still enough to take note of. Due to the mind control the Lich King forced upon her, she lost most of her memories, and with it a decent chunk of her ability to express herself, leaving her to seem a bit cold at times, possibly even Vulcan like. Despite that though she is a curious soul, often questioning people on things that would normally be common knowledge. Musje would probably describe herself as an elf, as the question’s deeper meaning would probably go over her head. Bishop is a very superstitious person, keeping her name a closely guarded secret due to her belief that true names have power in magical senses, she also puts copper pieces in each corner of her house for luck. She has only been in one relationship she remembers, and in it she was undeniably loyal, though rather demanding of attention, taking the act of ignoring her as a bold and serious insult. Bishop loves her horse and her farm, tending to treat her steed as a close family member, and her home in Gilneas as her treasure, she also enjoys collecting pots, though does not mind sharing the colourful clay items, as she doesn’t seem to be very possessive besides a few things she keeps close. Bishop was born in Dalaran, but she doesn’t remember anything of it, since her incorporation into the Knight of Archerus, and the resulting liberation, she has only stayed in two places for long, the frozen tundra of Northrend, and Gilneas, the latter of which being her home, she is also known to wander in Orgrimmar and Bloodhoof Village. When she is angry, which she seldom is, she would wander the streets of Gilneas, smashing Forsaken banners that seem to be replaced rather rapidly. As of now, her sense of humor is rather undeveloped, leading to most jokes going over her head, though overzealous devotion in any case usually irks her, as well as pigeons, she bloody hates pigeons! Bishop has been in one relationship thus far, with a Scarlet Crusader. Before she was turned into a Death Knight, she fell in love with a Scarlet Soldier, who tried to indoctrinate her, and when she finally snapped and said no, the soldier ended her, leaving her to get swept up by Arthas and turned into one of his Knights. That moment is the only memory she vividly remembers from her past, one the Lich King used to turn her onto a murdering machine for his war against the Scarlet Crusade. Musje’s social ineptitude is one of her biggest flaws, along with a stubbornness that would confound most.

  • Talk about your character’s name. How is it pronounced? Does it mean something? Any nicknames?

It’s pronounced Rev-en-win

  • Describe what they look like in detail or post a picture/reference of them. Note any distinguishing facial features.

Rev is above average height for a human female, at 5’10" (178 cm) and has a sturdy build. She is not thin by any means, but neither is she visibly obese, just an average body fat. She is large in bone frame, broad in the shoulders and ribs. She is well muscled and strong but not incredibly toned, with a slightly softer look as she does like to eat. She weighs around 175 pounds (almost 80 kg.)
Her hair is a peculiar shade of blonde that is only slightly red, not even quite enough to be considered a true strawberry blonde. Her eyes are green.

Face/hair reference (though not eye color): Annie Thorisdottir (look at main pic on Wikipedia entry.)

  • Describe their personality.

Rev is shy but very warm once someone has taken the time to introduce themselves. Unfortunately she tends to cling to people who have made attempts to befriend her and usually they end up pulling away from her and it becomes all kinds of awkward.

  • How would they describe themselves?

She would describe herself as an Argent Crusader through and through.

  • What do they believe in? (Can be religion, political, etc.)

She believes in the Holy Light and the Argent Crusade. She also considers herself to be fairly neutral to the factions, though she participated in the Fourth War in order to try to rid the world of Sylvanas.

  • What are they like in relationships? Are they clingy? Faithful or unfaithful? Do they jump from one relationship to the other?

Rev does have a tendency to be a bit clingy, but she is not really jealous. Once she makes a commitment to a person she is faithful until the end. She has never had a breakup, though she is a widow. She would like to remarry at some point.

  • What kind of people do they surround themselves with? Why?

She tends to surround herself with anyone willing to interact with her, due again to being shy.

  • Where was their birthplace? Where have they lived since then? Where is the place that they call home?

She was born outside of Andorhal, training as a paladin in Stormwind before returning to the land of her birth to join the Argent Crusade in Hearthglen. It was there she met her late husband, who was Sin’dorei. However, when he attempted to leave the Horde, he was cut down by Sylvanas, and so Rev has a deep-seated hatred for Sylvanas and those loyal to her. Since her husband passed away Revenwyn has left her old life behind as the memories were too painful to face. She is currently working on an outpost (proxy is garrison) on the far eastern shores of Arathi along the beach.

  • Where do they go when they are angry?

Anywhere where someone else won’t get hurt.

  • What are their biggest fear? Have they told this to someone? Who would they never tell this to? Why?

Being all alone at the heat death of the universe. She has told it to two people so far.

  • Do they have a secret? If so, what is it?

She’s had four deaths so far with nobody to resurrect her, and also encounters a weird cycle of bloodlust that does not end until a certain kill quota has been reached. It’s the result of a protective spell gone very wrong.

  • What makes them laugh out loud? What makes them angry?

She’s a very serious person and while she understands jokes, it’s hard for her to truly let loose and enjoy life. In general, she has to be actively involved in someone’s life to find anything they say or do funny.

In terms of anger, she is VERY involved and loyal in the lives of those she cares about and if anything harms them, she can go into quite the rage.

  • Have they ever been in a relationship? What were their experiences?

She married the first man to give her interest, and it was a mixed-faction marriage. This wasn’t as much of a problem while they were still working with the Argent Crusade but it became a problem once they were needed by their respective factions. They drew up expectations for each other’s involvement in the faction war. He chose to just sit out entirely as he could not conscientiously support Sylvanas and was eventually found to be a deserter and executed.

  • Do they have any flaws? What are they?

She’s a cursed being who struggles with depression and social anxiety.

  • Talk about your character’s name. How is it pronounced? Does it mean something? Any nicknames?

My current main is called Mjallwarg Darkweald. He doesn’t remember anything from his life before the curse, so he ended up having to pick a name for himself. The surname is in homage to what he recognizes as his homeland, Duskwood, and the first name means Wolf of the snow and he picked it mostly because it sounded nice and because he loves the cold. It’s pronounced Mee-all-varg, but most people just call him Warg.

  • Describe what they look like in detail or post a picture/reference of them. Note any distinguishing facial features.

He has dark grey fur and a black beard, and looks pretty standard for a Worgen when it comes to height and body-type, though he isn’t as “fit” as most of his kind, anymore. He has a few scars in his face, but the only really distinguishable one is one that runs across his right eye, but most of it is covered up by his eyepatch, so only the edges of it are visible.

  • Describe their personality.

He is quite outgoing but can be somewhat awkward to talk to, since he is a bit forgetful and sometimes doesn’t know how to properly express himself. He also can have a bit of a temper, but he refuses to be outright rude to people even when something’s bothering him. He is very friendly and tries his best to be kind to other people, and he loves conversation and being around other people.

  • How would they describe themselves?

He’d probably describe himself as a pretty standard guy, sometimes helpful and decent to be around but nothing to write home about overall. He doesn’t see himself as anything exceptional or special, and he isn’t too good at self-reflection, so that question will often stump him.

  • What do they believe in? (Can be religion, political, etc.)

His most central belief is that people need each other, and that everyone deserves a friend. He thinks that collaboration is the key to peace and to success, and that neither he, nor anyone else, can truly survive alone. This is his guiding principle, for most things.

  • What are they like in relationships? Are they clingy? Faithful or unfaithful? Do they jump from one relationship to the other?

He hasn’t officially been in a relationship yet, despite his age. He was close to having one multiple times, but he never quite had the courage to actually make it a relationship, which is something he now regrets. He is one to get deeply attached when he falls in love, though, and doesn’t easily move on, much less forget. He is loyal to the very end, and very much on the clingy side, but he is dependable and trustworthy to those he loves. Were he to have a relationship with someone, he’d be extremely romantic and want to make his loved one as happy as he could. That being said, he has some abandonment issues, and a deep-seated fear, almost to the point of paranoia, of losing his loved ones, a fear that has come after losing many of his loved ones to the battles in Draenor.

  • What kind of things does your character like? What do they dislike?

He likes animals and wildlife of all kinds, alchemy and herbalism, talking, meeting new people and travelling. He also loves snow and mountains, and he frequently travels to Northrend for that reason. He dislikes alcohol, as he has some… problems with it, the Mag’har, mostly because they remind him of the things that happened in Draenor, and jungles, he just hates jungles.

  • How do they treat their friends and family? How about strangers? Enemies? Allies?

He tries to treat everyone with kindness - he thinks everyone deserves someone willing to help them, and thus he attempts to be helpful in general and will probably do any favours he’s asked to do, within reason. That being said, he tends to go the extra mile to those closer to him. He also is a lot more open in general to those close to him, especially about his emotions, which he doesn’t tend to express very well to strangers. He also can be a bit paranoid about strangers - he is willing to help complete strangers if asked, but he will always keep an eye on them. He doesn’t treat them any differently, but he is suspicious for the first moments he meets someone until he is sure they aren’t going to try anything. His idea of kindness doesn’t apply to his enemies, though. His self control is completely lost when it comes to those he is fighting against, and it is in those moments that he shows himself to be far more bloodthirsty and out of control than people would think he is. He used the war to satisfy his bloodthirst, and he is far less in control of his inner beast than he would seem.

  • What kind of people do they surround themselves with? Why?

He tries to surround himself with people from all walks of life, but he invariably only sticks around people who he are nice to him. He doesn’t like mean-spirited people. and won’t be around anyone with the tendency to be rude.

  • Where was their birthplace? Where have they lived since then? Where is the place that they call home?

He doesn’t quite remember where he was born, but it is presumed he was born somewhere in Duskwood. He doesn’t have a fixed residence yet, but since he is around Stormwind frequently, he can usually be found camping in the Elwynn Forest, preferring to sleep in the forest than in the city. He’d call Raven Hill and Duskwood in general his home, though, and that is where he is most comfortable.

  • Where do they go when they are angry?

He usually goes for a hunt when he’s angry, as that relieves him quite a lot. If he can’t do that, however, he will just try to remove himself from whatever situation has angered him, and self isolate.

  • What are their biggest fear? Have they told this to someone? Who would they never tell this to? Why?

His biggest fear is being completely alone. He has his wolf, and his friends, and the idea of losing everyone and everything, of being alone without anyone he can rely on, terrifies him. Those close to him know this, but he avoids discussing this fear as much as he can.

  • Do they have a secret? If so, what is it?

He isn’t a man with many secrets. He is pretty open about his life if asked about it, and doesn’t tend to hide anything he’s done.

  • What makes them laugh out loud? What makes them angry?

It is very easy to make him laugh. His sense of humour ranges from sarcasm, lighthearted jokes and puns to dark humour. As for what gets on his nerves, well, quite a lot of things, but the one thing that pisses him off more than anything is arrogance. Being self-centered and arrogant is the one thing that seriously makes him angry.

  • Have they ever been in a relationship? What were their experiences?

As previously mentioned, he hasn’t officially been in a relationship. The one time he truly fell in love, though, was an amazing experience, and he longs to feel that way for someone again. All in all, it was great while it lasted, though the untimely death of the one he loved left him quite traumatized, and he has promised himself that, should he ever fall in love again, he’d protect his loved one to the very end. He greatly values the time he spent with the man he loved, though, and it taught him a lot more about himself than he expected to ever know. An outside perspective about him lifted his spirits more than his own perspective ever could.

  • Do they have any flaws? What are they?

Many. He can be short tempered and sometimes explodes on the people he is closest to. He has a problem seeing people either as all good or all bad, and can’t see in between that. He is easily blinded by rage, and will pick on people exactly where he knows it’ll hurt when he is angry, even is he doesn’t truly mean it - he has a tendency to emotionally hurt the people close to him in arguments, without really thinking about the consequences of what he’s said until it’s too late. He is impulsive and explosive, and is still struggling to learn how to control his anger so he doesn’t hurt the people he loves anymore. He’s trying his best, but you can’t always fix things as quick as you’d like.

  • Talk about your character’s name. How is it pronounced? Does it mean something? Any nicknames?

::: Zarastia [Zar-As-Tee-Ah] of the family Redblade. Sometimes called Zara, her name might have some loose Thalasian meaning.

  • Describe what they look like in detail or post a picture/reference of them. Note any distinguishing facial features.
::: Zarastia is a pale skinned, San’layn knight who sports flowing red hair which turns dark, or even black when she has not fed in recent moons. She has all of the features one would expect of a vampyr of her nature. Her fair visage is usually plastered with a confident smirk, which is usually hidden behind a bandana or a face-mask to hide her fangs when speaking in public. Her smaller frame and feminine grace betrays her supernatural strength, which she uses to wield her fearsome axe.

  • Describe their personality.
::: Zarastia in life was a noble soul, who never betrayed her friends and stood strong in the face of death. However, since transcending and becoming San’layn… She is cruel, sadistic, and elitist about undeath. She sees anyone who isn’t Forsaken as nothing more than a useless peasant, ready to be thrown in the line of fire or to be offered up like cattle to her appetites.

  • How would they describe themselves?
::: “Me? I am perfection. I am evolution. There is no need to fear death, for it is not the end. I am an example of the next stage of growth. A beauty, a weapon, and I am immortal.”

  • What do they believe in? (Can be religion, political, etc.)
::: Undeath is the ultimate evolution, and those who refuse to embrace it will be shown the way by the head of her axe.

  • What are they like in relationships? Are they clingy? Faithful or unfaithful? Do they jump from one relationship to the other?
::: Love is something she does not have the capacity for. Physical relationships are often a display of her dominance over another she considers lesser. They are cast aside on a whim, or whenever hunger overrides a particular ‘lover’s’ usefulness to her.

  • What kind of things does your character like? What do they dislike?
::: Likes: Blood, Death, Screams of the innocent, Bats, Forsaken brothers and sisters, Combat, Murder.
::: Dislikes: The Sun, Happy living people, Weddings, Children, Dogs, Curious Individuals who seek to become like her.

  • How do they treat their friends and family? How about strangers? Enemies? Allies?
::: Friends? Like family, and only if they are Undead.
::: Strangers? Like peasants if they are living, and she is welcoming to those who are Undead.
::: Enemies? Torture, Blooding, and Brutality. No mercy, straight up agony is her gift to them.
::: Allies? If they are living, with mild disdain. If they are undead, like valued comrades she might share a drink with.

  • What kind of people do they surround themselves with? Why?
::: Murderers, Thieves, and Outcasts. Mostly Forsaken. She feels a certain connection with those who society has cast out or treats with contempt. It is almost empathetic in some cases, and with Undead, she almost feels like she must protect them, remnant of her same feelings of duty she had when she was a Bloodknight in life.

  • Where was their birthplace? Where have they lived since then? Where is the place that they call home?
::: Born in Silvermoon City; Lived in Icecrown Citadel; Migrated around Southern Kalimdor; Lived in Undercity… Refugee in Orgrimmar.

  • Where do they go when they are angry?
::: The Cleft of the Shadow to seethe and rage at the world above.

  • What are their biggest fear? Have they told this to someone? Who would they never tell this to? Why?

::: Their biggest fear is starvation. Never spoken of, but highly implied when they haven’t fed for at least a week and symptoms of starvation are apparent. :: She keeps this to herself incase of capture to avoid complete isolation and forced starvation.

  • Do they have a secret? If so, what is it?
::: Many, but their biggest secret is that they lament the fact that they never had children. It is why she hates them so much, but refuses to harm them, no matter what.

  • What makes them laugh out loud? What makes them angry?
::: Laughter? When her enemies experience hardship, or beg for their lives before she kills them. Sometimes a crude joke or inappropriate conversation.
::: Angry? When she is insulted, denied a kill, or otherwise treated as less than a noble creature worthy of respect and reverence she feels she is owed.

  • Have they ever been in a relationship? What were their experiences?
::: None of note. A few flings here and there, but nothing one would write about.

  • Do they have any flaws? What are they?
::: Overconfidence, Blinding Pride, and a lack of true friends.

  • Talk about your character’s name. How is it pronounced? Does it mean something? Any nicknames?

Etzlii. No surname to speak of.
Pronounced “Ets-lee”.
IC it doesn’t mean anything, but OOC it was supposed to be a non-English word.
People usually call him Etz, and a nice lady called him “Teacups”.

  • Describe what they look like in detail or post a picture/reference of them. Note any distinguishing facial features.

Masculine, but not too masculine; mainly the hair is feminine… so kinda stereotypical Blood Elf.
Face looks kind of artificial, and snake-like.
Sharp/angular face setup, eyes are cat-like, and he has prominent fangs.

Conquest Art: https://i.imgur.com/vjt7vuF.png

  • Describe their personality.

Smug, prideful, troublemaking, gentleman-like, classy, fun-loving, and secretly a giant pervert. He has a soft spot for adorable critters, and has a pet bat named Stella.

  • How would they describe themselves?

He probably thinks he’s just confident, superior, funny, classy, all that jazz.

  • What do they believe in?

Himself. It makes sense in context.

  • What are they like in relationships?

He treats whichever woman he’s with like royalty.
He prefers an open relationship, but also doesn’t mind having a long stable one., though he may slip up from time to time

  • What kind of things does your character like? What do they dislike?

He likes hunting, fighting, sleeping, discovering new wine, his bat, and his Wine’dorei friend.
Dislikes Light zealots, pacifists, people with no tact,

  • How do they treat their friends and family? How about strangers? Enemies? Allies?

He tends to treat everybody about equally until they give him a reason to dislike them. He’s rather ruthless towards his enemies, though.

  • What kind of people do they surround themselves with? Why?

A ragtag group of weirdos. He means that in a good way, he’s includes himself.

  • Where is your character from? Where have they lived since then? Where is the place that they call home?

Technically The Void, but he spawned in Silvermoon for all he knows; he has no waking memory prior.
He used to live in Netherlight Temple before he was banished.
Usually he just finds a place to put his magic tent down, and sleeps in it.

  • Where do they go when they are angry?

Oh boy.
Nowhere good, that’s for sure; anger tends to take over his mind like it’s a second person. If he doesn’t portal out to take care of his anger, it could end badly for whomever is in the vicinity.

  • What are their biggest fear? Have they told this to someone? Who would they never tell this to? Why?

Naaru. One killed him, should be self-explanatory.
He doesn’t tell anybody unless the subject is brought up.

  • Do they have a secret? If so, what is it?

Yes.
He’s actually a void creature.
It’s not exactly… subtle, though.

  • What makes them laugh out loud? What makes them angry?

Kinda hard to pinpoint either of those, but he likes to giggle over immature things like euphemisms and after he does something funny.
One pet peeve is implying he’s not male. Another is feeling useless in a situation.

  • Have they ever been in a relationship? What were their experiences?

He was in a few, then finally married. It was honestly quite happy until he died, and his wife gave up on him. His wife turned undead, so he sees no reason to be in a relationship anymore.

  • Do they have any flaws? What are they?

The aforementioned anger issue is one; he can lose his mind fairly easily.
He also tends to be overly-confident and underestimates his opponents.
Doesn’t grasp a lot of standard cues very well and tends to be overly-blunt.
Sometimes says outright disturbing things that he finds to be normal, due to his nature.

1 Name: Dresindra Darkspark Pronounced like it’s spelled though I do put a slight flip on the S for Dres. She has changed her last name 3 times as she has changed her philosophy and applied it to 3 different projects she is working on, right now the Darkspark Data Ascendancy Program which is her algorithm she is writing to achieve divinity and fix the world.

2 Looks: Won’t let me link but player profile is pretty accurate and Twitter profile has art of the spooky gnome.

  1. Personality: Dresindra is awkward and overly polite and more then a bit arrogant and intense. She is a persistent flame and while she plays herself as a rational logical almost machine like person she has a deep sense of justice and right and wrong that push her driven by grief and her lingering terror of being powerless.

4 Self-Description: Dres considers herself imperfect though striving towards perfection. She holds herself to impossible standards because she thinks somebody has to. She believes she might be the only one who can save everyone.

5 Faith: Dres believes in a mechanical universe where everything has a purpose and place but she considers this reality flawed and broken and holds tight to her ethics of seeking power and following duty as the path to repair it.

6 Relationship: Dres is not good at those considering her delusional ambitions, intensity and awkwardness as well as her aestheticism. If in one though she is very faithful and turns her singular focus onto helping her partner.

  1. Likes and Dislikes: Dres loves mint because it reminds her of when she was a child in Gnomeregan and she loves books. She also has developed a recent love of gothic aesthetic and plushies but she still doesn’t understand why they make her feel good. She hates crowds and rudeness and most things related with violence.

8: How is she to others?: Dres is awkward and distant and as such treats most people with reserved and extreme politeness regardless of who they are, only opening up when she very much trusts someone. She is happy to shower those she likes with gifts and assistance and blunt rational honest data.

9: People: She is drawn to academics and engineers and to those who seem to be in need or who have the spark of altruism. She tends to draw in the ambitious or insane but her honesty and very judgmental nature make it hard for them to stay around her.

10 Birthplace: Gnomeregan. Since it’s fall she has moved around and has various labs where Hollowlight Ventures operates but she will always consider her home lost.

11 Angry?: Dres practices self control to an almost self-harming level so if her anger gets so great that she feels the void whisper words of violence she tends to disengage and go to her labs.

12: Fear: Being Powerless and Death. She tells most people of her hate and disgust for the later but she hasn’t fully processed how much the former has motivated her life.

13: Secret: Very few, she is blunt and honest with most things but she regrets killing her brother in terror/anger when he was mechanized in Northrend.

14: Laugh and Angry: Aside from HAH laughs, Dres is serious and hard to get a laugh out of but people she cares about and considers innocent being adorable often gets one. Dres is easy to anger as injustice, unfairness, suffering, racism or ignorance all anger her but she is not very emotive.

15: Relationships: Dres spent a small bit of time hedonistically hoping around to try to fill the Void (Hah) in her heart but has never seriously dated since she is a difficult person to be around sometimes. She has had serious crushes and attempted to date but many times scares off her prospects with her intensity.

16: Flaws: HAH. Her greatest flaw is her greatest strength. Her inexhaustible will and determination. She will stubbornly refuse to accept something she thinks is wrong to the point of obsession. She goes to dangerous extremes and puts herself through immense hardship and suffering to do what she thinks is right. She is also very judgmental of others but even more so of herself which when combined with her arrogance leads her to blame herself for everything she thinks she might have been able to fix or prevent.

Talk about your character’s name. How is it pronounced? Does it mean something? Any nicknames?

Dloin. Pronounced duh-LOIN. It was a name I came up with as a wee kid who had just read the Hobbit and wanted his own dwarfy-sounding name. Nicknames have included D-Lion and Cap.

Describe what they look like in detail or post a picture/reference of them. Note any distinguishing facial features.

Pretty much as his avatar shows, for the most part. Black hair and beard, braided moustache. Blue eyes. For details that aren’t showed on his avatar, he has one golden tooth, and he’s missing the ring and pinky fingers on his right hand.

Describe their personality.

Alternates between being a charismatic crowd pleaser and a introverted, contemplative observer. He tends to hide the latter from those who are important to him, wanting them to only know him as carefree and fun.

How would they describe themselves?

A walking failure who isn’t worth others’ time.

What do they believe in? (Can be religion, political, etc.)

Dloin believes in the peoples’ right to govern themselves. Freedom and liberty above and before all else. He has little patience for authority granted due to wealth or ancestry, but has the utmost respect for proven leaders and hard workers. Dloin will scowl and scoff at the Light and its worshipers all day, but when in dire straights he’s not above offering a prayer for guidance or protection.

What are they like in relationships? Are they clingy? Faithful or unfaithful? Do they jump from one relationship to the other?

Dloin had one major relationship, and losing her has shaken much of his feelings towards relating to others. In his youth he was faithful, a bit clingy, and a little on the high-maintenance side. Now, he tends to ignore matters of the heart, even if someone catches his fancy. He doesn’t want to go through love and loss again.

What kind of things does your character like? What do they dislike?

Dloin loves honey mead, banana bread, sandy beaches, and the sounds and atmosphere of a busy tavern common room. He can’t stand open displays of romance, people who always wear armor instead of more appropriate attire, people who bring animals into tavern common rooms, and infringing on others’ freedoms.

How do they treat their friends and family? How about strangers? Enemies? Allies?

Dloin’s family is little more than a distant memory at this point. He has no idea if any of them are still alive, and is afraid to find out if they are. Dloin considers strangers quietly from a distance for the most part, but isn’t afraid to call someone else out for what he would consider a foolish act. Dloin used to face his enemies head on when he had the support of his ship and crew, but now that he is on his own, he tends to hide and avoid conflict. Finally, Dloin treats his friends and allies one and the same - they are there for him to protect.

What kind of people do they surround themselves with? Why?

Dloin enjoys the company of the inexperienced the most, as it often provides him an opportunity to sound wise and worldly, giving him the chance to pretend he is worth spending time around. He greatly admires confidence and worldliness, but it also intimidates him, since as soon as someone begins sharing knowledge on something Dloin thought he knew, he immediately begins to doubt his own experience.

Where was their birthplace? Where have they lived since then? Where is the place that they call home?

Dloin was born across the sea. He has lived in Thelsamar, Ironforge, Stormwind, Ratchet, Steamwheedle Port, Shattrath, Bogpaddle, Booty Bay, and now back in Stormwind. He will always feel like a traveler, as his true home has always been at sea.

Where do they go when they are angry?

The tavern.

What are their biggest fear? Have they told this to someone? Who would they never tell this to? Why?

Dloin’s biggest fear is that the people who he lets close to him will leave him - either through death, or through learning that he is actually as useless as he believes himself to be. He would never tell anyone this.

Do they have a secret? If so, what is it?

See above.

What makes them laugh out loud? What makes them angry?

A good raunchy joke, and an unwarranted insult at anybody other than himsef, respectively.

Have they ever been in a relationship? What were their experiences?

Dloin has had one serious relationship which lasted many years. The two of them traveled a lot, sometimes together, and sometimes apart. Losing her started him on a downward spiral that he has had a difficult time pulling out of.

Do they have any flaws? What are they?

If you can’t figure out what his flaws are from reading this, then I’m not going to tell you, lol.

Im going to be contrarian and talk about my WC DnD character since ive been fleshing him out more in other discords while our group is on hiatus for the moment and ive been making a comic about his session zero as of late, time to ye-haw!

Name: Issac Infirnus. Yes its spelt with two s’s on purpous, Infirnus isnt even his birth name but Zihlad is. It dosent have an actual meaning since i just nicked it off a name generator and it… sucks. Issac is pronounce how you think it dose and Infirnus can be pronounced ‘ehn-furnace’ he is called ‘furnace’ as a nick name.

Looks: Skinny wafty thing, pale, upturned nose, black hair usually spiked. (Lately it has gotten long enough to be in a ponytail and its still a mess) and red eyes. (part of his mark of divine saucer for clarity, he can see into the past with them but not very far)

Personality: a skittish over-reactor to dangers but can be calm and stoic once hes in a town or in a church, he has a thing about the outdoors that just gets him riled.

Self descriptor: a beacon to all things ‘Light related’ that is deeply flawed and needs quite alot more improvement.

Belief: The light Bay-beee~

Relationships: it toulk him quite a long time since he knows absolutely zero on the topic but he is fiercely faithful and quite genuine once he gets going.

Likes/dislikes: flowers, music, singing, the light, his waifu.
outside, undead, demons, jabs at his over-reactivenes.

treating people: if its close friends hes aquardly developed a kinship with them and dose appreciate them quite alot even if they tease him. Strangers hes allwayse wary about until they show there hand, enemies go straight into the sin-bin for him and allies he treats them about the same as strangers.

friend group: a bunch of good-do-ers wanting to try to improve things and going about it in weird ways. At least they arnt murder hobos?

Birthplace: Alterac! though taken from there since he was 4 and lived in churches and cathedrals of the sort up to the events of the scourge. He dose live in Westfall/westwood now at least. he also has an accent which he tries to tackle on occasion.

angry corner/ fear: he dosent really have an angry corner but he dose vibrate, litterly. A big fear is losing the light at a crucial moment which couples with losing his friends, bout everyone in his circle knows this rather well. ‘If I cant heal, you will die and if you all die I cant stand to live with that’.

(Naughty)Secrets!: while his friends know this now, he was apart of the scarlet crusade for a time. He also has a tupla, his friends just think hes crazy and muttering to himself which… they arnt wrong. (No it isnt a pony thank god)

lel u mad: hes stuffy, hes very ‘no fun aloud’ BUT he has loosened up abit to appreciate more ‘suggestive jokes’ as aquard as he tries to attempt his own. As for mad, see above for being teases over how much he over-reacts.

The rest of these… are kind of the same question to me but there you go! a vibrating (Slightly crazy) priest!
