If you’re not in Chromie time, what you are describing is caused by outleveling the zone you’re playing in and the mobs you’re fighting. Without Chromie time, you’ll level fast against an environment that is locked into a specific maximum level, and when your character outlevels the mobs by more than a few levels (5 or 10, I think), they give no experience.
You’re supposed to move on to a different zone which is appropriate for your level, and keep moving as you outlevel each zone.
The value of Chromie time is that all content scales to keep up with your own level, so you can level anywhere and not have to worry about having to migrate to keep leveling.
the mobs im hitting are my level, I don’t take any damage at all …i can auto hit and crit for 6000 . I can try to go somewhere else. right now im in silver pine forest
I’m skeptical of this. Retail Silverpine Forest is a level 5-30 zone and your character is level 35, so the reported effect is exactly what I’d expect from outleveling the zone.
I don’t know what the game is displaying that would make you believe the mobs are your level, which is literally impossible if you’re not in Chromie time.
so where should i be?
Looking at WowHead’s database, you should go back to Orgrimmar and pick up the starter quest for the Warlords of Draenor, Legion, or Battle for Azeroth expansions, because all the zones of the original vanilla game and the Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, or Mists of Pandaria expansions are already lower level than your character, so would provide very poor (or no) leveling performance.
