Character Not Found

Hello,
I noticed there were a few posts regarding this issue during the PTR for the Shadowlands Pre-Patch, however I’ve noticed very little regarding the live release and this issue.

Whenever I attempt to Enter World, I will get to the loading screen, and it will load up to a certain point. (Around 60% for one toon, and 90% for another. This is consistent for each character.) However after stopping, it will sit there for about a minute, before kicking me back to the Character Select screen, and give me the error:

“Character not found”

I’m unsure if this is related to Blizzard’s server issues at the moment, since I’m still capable of logging in and seeing the Character Select screen. If there is a fix planned for this, or a way to solve this issue already, I’d appreciate the info.

Same thing with my toons. Character not found even went to a different server. Damn blizzard.

I am having the same problem with this. i get a couple hours to play and i cannot even log in.

I did manage to get in to the game after a little bit, but then my game crashed and now I’m having the issue again. Hopefully these issues will be fixed soon.

I’m having the same problem with all 5 of my characters Horde or Alliance. What is the story Blizzard?

I am also having this issue with every toon, If I try to create a new char then it times out also.

Same issue here on Zul’Jin.

I am able to create a new character and log in, but I cannot login with existing characters.

Same issue on characters I haven’t used in awhile. The 2 I have been using this happened a few times then logged me in.
Realm list when relogging shows I have no toons on any realm. I have to log into realms I know have toons and then eventually it populates my list of characters.
Also when logging back in it doesn’t take me to the realm I was on it takes me to the select realm screen every time.

Reading forums and clicking ‘Enter’ for the last hour. Nothing… working…

I ended up getting in after about 45 minutes of this. I really hope this doesn’t last until next Tuesday…

one would think 10 hours of maintenance would of made this go smooth
