I’m unable to play - character not found
When I login no characters are displayed on my realm, the screen is all black - I’m on the correct realm etc. After about a minute it displays the characters with the adjusted levels. But when I select a character to play it sticks on the leading screen for about a minute (progress bar gets to about 60% full), then returns with the error “character not found”.
I’m having the same issue. Except its only on my night elf characters. All of my night elves have blacked out faces and none of them load up. I get the error Character Not Found.

I’m having the same issue. Can not login to any existing characters and when I go to create a new character I’m smacked with a Character creation timed out.
Same here. Can not login on any characters on any server, can’t create new characters too ( character creation timed out ). All addons disabled and I already scan/repaired my game files, no solution yet. All my friends are playing normaly
Update: I can log in! But character creation still bugged.
Same here I can’t login to any but they load after a minute. Load screen then takes me right back to main menu…damn
I now am nonstop having this issue regardless of server or character I choose.
Same issue on all 10+ characters.
Same issue for the last 2+ hours. Character not found when I try to log in, tried 10+ toons on multiple servers and Character Creation Timed Out when I try to make new characters, also tried on multiple servers.
Having trouble here, too. Deleted cache and wtf, disabled addons, made sure my graphics card was up to date, and reset game settings. Still no luck.
Edit: Now I’m also being disconnected after about a minute.
I had the same issue.
A) The scroll bar was all the way down from when I was browsing another character list. So make sure you’re scrolled to the right spot.
B) When I alt tabbed to check the forum and went back, my character was there so I’m thinking it’s just a delay.

Wrong. Literally in the loading screen after selecting my character, at about 60% I get booted to the character select screen “Character Not Found”. This isn’t people physically unable to find their characters, this is the game.
Same problem here. Amazing isn’t it.
PLEASE BLIZZARD MY GIRLFRIEND WANTS TO SEE ME TOMORROW SINCE I’M PLAYING PRE PATCH MY CHARACTERS MUST BE FOUND SO I CAN PWN SOME BOARS

It took a few minutes for the character select screen to load everything. When it finally did, all of my characters were displayed properly. When I select one and click “Enter World” it hangs on the loading screen for several seconds before kicking me back to character selection with the error “Character not found”.
I’d also like to note that on character creation, the game doesn’t identify that I’ve unlocked any allied races. I have in fact unlocked two of them, which would be obvious by examining my character list on Zul’jin.
I am having this same issue on EVERY character, regardless of level, regardless of server. I am also not able to create ANY Allied races.
Same, I was able to login to a character once and then I was kicked out and now I am getting “character not found” error message.
I also do not see any of the allied races in the character creation screen.
Same here. No characters found and no access to allied races.
