Logged out for 30min came back and now loading screens are getting stuck at 90% and giving a “Character not found” error. This is happening across all my characters.
EDIT: This seems to be just oceanic realms. The realm/character lists take quite a while to load as well.
Yeah I’m seeing the same thing trying to connect to the Nagrand realm.
Same on Frostmourne, multiple accounts. Initially up to a minute to authenticate, then there are no characters in my list. After a while the list propagates, but when you try to login, get “Character not found” bouncing you back to the select screen.
Nagrand stone dead for me too. Took multiple minutes to load the character list, and even when it appeared, I can’t log into any characters without getting “Character not found” error.
I was having the same issue for the last hour, because support is slow around this time of year (thanksgiving), I cancelled sub and left a message there about the outage in the off chance someone reads that page faster.
Same thing for me with characters on both Caelestraz and Frostmourne. SUper slow and then when logging in the loading bar hangs and drops back to character select with character not found

I have the same problem on both US and Oceanic realms. I am based in Oceania and usually play on the Nagrand cluster, but was attempting to log into a character on US Nesingwary when I first saw the problem. I tried Nagrand and the same thing happened.
One extra detail I noticed was that the client did not at first auto-authenticate from battlenet app (ie. I launched from Battle Net, game client launched, and came up with WOW login page asking for login and password). After a few attempts it bypassed that login screen and went into the character select as normal.
Characters were all showing on the character select screen.

Yeah I had the same issue. Made a thread about it on GD and someone pointed out I should post it here. But looks like y’all are on it.
The issue is for Australian based users, not OCE servers in particular, so a US player could login to Frostmourne, but an AU player couldnt login to Frostmourne or Area 52 for example
Same problem on US Khaz’goroth which is an OCE server. I logged a thread under customer support but this is probably the better spot for it.
I was logged in to the game on one of my characters. Went afk for 30+ mins in Feralas and the game disconnected me. Tried logging back in to the same character and the game keeps disconnecting me with a [You have been disconnected from the server. (WOW51900319)] error.
Tried using the automated “move character” support feature and it didn’t fix the problem.
Reset the UI by backing up and deleting the Cache, Interface, and WTF folders, but it didn’t work.
Tried logging into a different character on the same realm [US Khaz’goroth] and it intermittently works, and sometimes I get a “Character cannot be found” error.
Tried logging into a character on a different realm [US Saurfang] and it worked fine.
I am also having this issue. It started an hour ago for me when I could not log out of the game.
I live in south Georgia and have tried various US servers and Brazil servers but all give the same issue.

Yeah can’t get in for about an hour now, 90% load screen then ‘Character Not Found’. Tried multiple toons and servers. Creating new character doesn’t work either, just says timed out. Hopefully fixed soon but I doubt it considering it’s a small indie company

I think the problem is Optus in Australia. Been running like a dog all day with huge pings and bugger all throughput.
I switched to my phone (telstra) and could log in to toons no problem.
With Optus wireless I cannot logon to anything.
Same here cant log in for now waiting on blizz to fix the issue
