No. It’s not. It’s the name of an already existing caste of Kaldorei that’s frowned upon and basically dead.
It’s an RP server. We have naming rules, which include existing names of well known people, places, etc. Don’t be that guy/girl.
Why that name?
Personally, I think Hyghborn looks more authentic and notable as a birth name than Highborne. But that’s just me.
why cant people just be creative and not rely on buying or begging blizz to release someone elses name

Well im in the guild which is also a blizzard used name. Just turns out I wanna be named Highborne. Pretty fanatical, but that is not the reason for this post. The reason is to maybe just maybe get that one person to see this and reach out to me!

Because they’re on MG where I play and I like to remind people of the naming rules and actually having a name for a character on an RP realm. Sorry if that bothers you, but we’re all different.
Nah he wore some heirlooms. I sent an In game mail to him about giving up his name. But no response back. I don’t think he is active on the toon. Lol
Unfortunately during most of Legion I went Alliance not thinking to save the name Goretex just in case I came back Horde 
This is the exact reason why some mail from characters should go to all characters on the account. Especially if it’s like a notification message
I definitely agree on that idea, make it a notification for all active characters on that realm that you have mail on another toon
I was able to get some pretty good names a few months before we even heard of Vulpera. Ninetales, Vaporeon, as well as a few others.
They’re long since gone and sold (for gold), but you can imagine the smile on my face when we were shown Vulpera for the first time.
