The filter for inappropriate and allowed names is terrible and needs to be updated. Here are some examples of names that passed on Retail today. I just tested. I am concerned and this shows why I continue to see horrible names that pass through the creation window. Offensive on so many levels. I quite actually thought of the most offensive names possible and all of them were accepted.

Can Blizzard please do something about this? Not everyone is aware you can report someone for an offensive name and these should be blanketed as a NO GO.
Forum Moderator Note: If you see bad names, please do report them through the appropriate means. That way they can be properly investigated.

I provided them and they were deleted by the mod. Let’s just leave it at, you can pretty much name yourself highly racist, religiously offensive, and sexual type names. Easily.

Which leads me to wonder, if the names were so bad that a mod acted within 30 seconds and deleted them from a forum, how is it acceptable that players can get into the game with them? xD
Obviously their coding for their name generator / accepter is WAY out of date.
Because anyone with a lick of sense will know that you can update it all you like, but you’ll have folks still coming up with horrible name nearly 24/7. Along with that, folks will just misspellings to get around it to make it a moot point.
