Character missing sounds after faction change

I’ve paid for a faction change my blood elf DK to night elf.

Ever since then, one my skills (vampiric strike) has been missing its sound.

It does not play the impact sound and I’ve tried everything from reinstalling, checking for corrupt files, removing addons etc.

I’ve also logged into another PC and the problem persists.

The community says that their NE death knight characters do not have this problem.

At this point I really want to find out if the faction change is a bug or whether its a problem on my side.

If other Night Elf Death Knights aren’t experiencing the same issue, it is possible it is specific to you, Nonoring. It would be unusual it was though, as I don’t think I’ve ever seen an issue that was unique to a single character. since you said you tried on a different PC we can probably rule out an addon/corrupted file issue (unless you have something on both PC’s that could cause it, but that seems unlikely).

I would definitely report it as a bug, either in the Bug Report forum or via the Support menu in-game. It is possible that it is impacting other Night Elf Death Knights, just not all of them, or all of the time. It would help to put it on QA’s radar if it isn’t already.

I actually went in game and tested it with other NE death knights.

None of them can actually hear the proper imapct sound.

Guess I’m changing my race until this gets fixed.
