Character Limit

Maybe I have too many alts, but I hope that Blizz increases the character limit again for the next release of allied race(s) or class(es).
Maybe even Legion Remix if they’re feeling generous.

I suppose if they don’t care about the storage issues that come along with it. Whatever floats your boat. The limit is what right now, 65? That just seems a tad bit ridiculous to me personally that someone has reached the max and wants more.

i think its for names so they can have name saved and keep it forever until they eventually decide to use it for a rename

Dang I totally thought you were going for NAME character limit

Tbh I support increasing the limit for both. I hate having to delete toons (and running out of space when I am making a name).

NEVER. You can never have too many alts. I love all of my 60+ characters even if i don’t play all of them equally. I like the back stories and i am definitely looking forward to player housing as another pillar of play.

I have 14 that I play and its getting to be to much, I wish they went back to different horde and alliance quests. Or better still let there be some difference for the classes

Do you actually have time to put any meaningful play into 50 characters?

I…barely have time to deal with 20.

I am sure they will increase it for Re-gion (TM Nikolo) as they did the same for Pandaredo

I actually went hard on the prepatch event and wound up with exactly 50 max level characters before TWW launched. Comp stomp came up like a week or two before the launch so I made it a mission to farm honor by doing 1 round for the Something Different quest on every single one.

Took me almost 3 days. Was worth a couple of levels of honor and badges but not something I’d want to do all the time, nope.

You can have max like 195 characters if you max out the amount of WoW accounts you have under your main Battle.net account.

Downside is everyone else can too, and then 1 bnet account that goes on to only play the new CoD or Arc Light Rumble on mobile will never loose the 195 WoW character names they hold hostage.

65 characters is pretty generous already.

I actually hit the limit. Over time my play style has changed, I’ve played with people in different realms, I’ve tried different races and classes and things added up.

Since then I’ve gone through and deleted some so I’m back down to a manageable number.

I find it ‘ridiculous’ that some only have 1-6 characters with all these classes / specs to choose from lol. Id have quit by now if I only ran a single class or three out of being bored to death.

I just cleared out a list of alts I havent messed with in a while. Gritting my teeth the entire time because I like the characters I spent time with, but wanted more space to roll so more.
I spose could pay for a second wow inside the bnet…since we have 8…and roll some new alts there.

they need to fix this name crap.
Give more characters to use for names…and a space or underscore…something so we have first and last names…and/or maybe when we name our character it adds 5 or 6 invisible characters so we can have the same name, but the system will distinguish between the 17093 “Steves” using those invisible digits. that would open up the problem of only one person being able to use a unique name, anyway

Anything would be better than what the game has now.

I’m in the same boat - too many alts.

Yeah, they do, cause there is a finite number of naming possibilities left and when 195 names can be removed with 1 bnet account times the number of players wow has…

(and never released as long as someone logs into Call of Duty, Avowed, arc rumble, Outer Worlds 2, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 or literally any of the growing lists of games tied to that Bnet account at least once every 2 years)

…you run out of all possible names until eventually the only names available are things like AÂÃÄÅÆ
