“A character with that name already exists” if been experiancing this for like 2 hrs on ruetotwm-uther anyone else?
I got that, eventually it stopped being a problem but it was annoying.
Yeah, it’s been happening all day, especially when porting into Stormwind, takes like three minutes. Also, it’s impossible to do anything in Draenor for some reason. The game always thinks I’m still in the garrison and doesn’t show any npcs in the towns.

My game keeps crashing, and I’m getting that message. I’m not going to play the waiting until it fixes game again. I’m really tired of the dragonflight crashes. I have a top end computer, and top end internet.
Going to go play Diablo 4 which is completely stable, thank goodness.
Seems to be a global issue. It got fixed for me, for now.
Yes, I had this happen on a character yesterday, and the character stuck feature got it fixed.
Been having that happen in keys all night.
One time it dc’d our healer, then he couldn’t get back in because “character already exists”, then when he finally got in he was in DPS spec because reasons, so he had to leave the instance to change back to healing spec, which meant ANOTHER pair of loading screens, and…
