Character is stuck in a timewalking campaign even after level 50

I hit 50 and left the legion area to level and quest else where. when I try to go into a dungeon or raid I cant. I get an error saying " I cannot enter this instance while participating in a timewalking campaign"

I have been unable to find a fix via google.

Chromie time now extends to level 60. You must leave Chromie time to enter a heroic dungeon or a raid.
