Character is not receiving Fractured Spark of Fortunes

I am not receiving anymore Fractured Spark of Fortunes on my Death Knight. He currently has 1 completed spark and 0 of 3 possible Fractured Spark of Fortunes. I have submitted a ticket but they said there is nothing they can do.

I have used the script " /run a=C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132) print(“You have earned " … a.totalEarned … " of " … a.maxQuantity … " possible Fractured Spark of Fortunes”) " From Wowhead. This tells me I have 0/3 Possible Fractured Spark of Fortunes.

The customer service rep that was working my ticket is clearly not reading any of my concerns and just told me to submit a bug. I have completed all the weekly quests last week and this week. I have ran several dungeons and even killing some raid bosses. Still my DK does not have a Fractured Spark a Fortune. All of my other characters have looted it from the weekly quest and they currently have 5 Fractured Sparks.

I am hoping to get some kind of help to resolve this. This character is currently unable to progress as he cannot craft the 2H weapon.

The Customer Support I have received on this topic has been the worst from any game I have ever played. Being told to complete the weekly quest to get your spark after I clearly explained that I have completed it is very sad.

So, not sure how long ago you had your ticket answered, but this was updated early this AM. They may be able to address now. I’m waiting to hear back on mine, but I also have only been able to make one spark despite doing my pinnacle cache quests every week

Or run this for the full table. The quantity entry is what matters now and not totalEarned.
/dump C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132)

I run the script you provided an get a Quantity=2. May I ask how will this change what the issue is with my character? The weekly Pinnacle Cache is a 100% guarantee to drop a spark every week. I have opened it twice in the last 2 weeks and did not get anything except Gold, Coffer Key and Veteran Gear.

quantity 2 means you’ve received 2 fractured sparks as drops. It sounds like this is your 1 completed spark. You can still receive 1 more fractured spark as a drop and 2 come from the quests near the catalyst.

Same thing for me. I made a post a couple days ago and have opened pretty much everyday for a week and still not results.

Shows my bugged DH 3/3 Available / Earned and i still only have 1 Complete spark and a fractured spark.

Well after stressing about this for nearly 3 weeks with 0 support from Blizzard and running over 20 M+ 7-10 keys. I decided to do a Race Change. I then completed 1 delve and was rewarded a Fractured Spark of Fortune. So if you are desperate enough this may be a work around for you. It sucks to have to pay Blizzard more to fix their issue after their Customer Support and GM’s would not help.

Same for me, i only have 5 fractures and the gm always send a auto response of me with a article saying everything i already now who dosent helped in nothing.

I have the same issue of not receiving this week’s Fractured Spark of Fortunes even after turning in the pinnacles, special assignments, Awakening the Machine, and full clearing the raid.

After going back and forth with several GMs, finally one of them ‘soft reset’ my account so that it can drop again. The problem however, is that there are no pinnacle quests left to do. When I asked about this, a different GM by the name of Cobaem had this to say:

If you’ve already done all available Pinnacle quests this week and still didn’t receive one, you may need to wait for the weekly reset to try again. I’d also recommend double-checking your currency tab in case the spark was added but didn’t trigger a visible notification.

Sorry, but I expect more from a GM on an issue where it’s clearly the game malfunctioning than just ‘better luck next week’ or ‘check your currency tab’. That last bit clearly demonstrates that he has no idea of what he’s talking about.

Wait you actually had a GM help you? That’s interesting… a lot of people have been told there is nothing they can do. It is WILD how inconsistent things have been with this.

Anyways be sure to post in the other threads about this issue, unless this bug gets attention it won’t be getting fixed.

Please remember if it happened once it can and will happen again! So lets get it fixed

I have an update from another GM and they have confirmed that it’s part of a known issue and that they are working on a solution:

This is Game Master Dohabymu and I’ve taken your ticket about the missing Fractured Spark of Fortunes after completing your weekly pinnacle activities. You’re absolutely right. Based on everything you’ve described and the steps you’ve already taken, this is indeed part of a known issue. The system is not currently working as intended for some players, and our development team is already aware and actively working on a solution. While I know it’s frustrating to be held back from crafting progress, I want to reassure you that the goal is to ensure players affected by this won’t be penalized in the long run. For now, there’s no need to complete anything additional. Just hang tight while the fix is being prepared.

Oh that is a great response Navitar thanks for posting it. I am however very worried that because we don’t have a post about this issue we are just getting spoon fed what they think we want to hear to keep us content. It would take all of 20 seconds to make a post saying they know about the issue and are working on it, and the lack of said post means we need to make sure this gets enough attention so lets keep those threads/conversations coming!
