Just randomly in the open world and also in dungeons. Just wham, character is invisible. Console reloadui doesnt fix, neither does dieing. It has become an issue in high Mythic+ runs since dodging mechanics is pretty hard if I can’t see where I am lol. Just hoping someone else has run into this issue, thanks.
This is odd behavior Cellyx. You don’t disconnect after a short while? The group not seeing you makes it even more odd.
Nope I don’t disconnect. I can still interact with everything fine, I can damage mobs and be healed. My only solution at the moment is using various toys that put an aura around me or like a little minion on my invisible shoulder so I at least know where I am. My nameplate still shows above me, but my actual character is still invisible.
Dang - I’ve come across not seeing yourself as some sort of glitch. Invisible to other players - you could have some fun with that.
This has to be a UI thing or something even deeper. You say it is random - how often does it occur. How long does it last?
I’m thinking playing on the default UI as a test. You can return to original UI settings afterwards.
To return to original settings simply delete the new WTF and Interface folders the game installed. Remove the OLD suffix from your originals. Don’t bother with Cache folder - never hurts to build a new one.
Does it kind of behave like this? There’s a clip in my bug post that shows it. Could be related. And that’s on a fully reset client+cvar default. Happens on all graphics settings levels.
Can you post a DXDIAG? I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that this is an AMD GPU driver issue, but I’m too lazy to deal with the headache of testing out different drivers right now.
I have this exact same issue recently and I can’t for the life of me narrow it down or find many other results for people experiencing it, but it’s not Just you. My character model seemingly randomly becomes completely invisible at the start of a mythic+ (and once or twice in the open world). It seems to happen while mounted. My nameplate still shows but the model does not. I also don’t disconnect or have any connection issues or performance issues that I notice. My model does not flicker, it’s just not visible, as any auras or debuffs that add a glow to me will still show my perfect silhouette.
It happens very infrequently - like once every few days, so it’s difficult to turn everything off as a test since it could simply not be triggered for a while. Reloading UI hasn’t helped. Dying has fixed it for me, however, at least once, but naturally that’s not an ideal solution lol.

Yes Shadowguest is describing exactly what happens to me as well. It happens across multiple characters for me as well. And same thing, it can be fine for a day or multiple days so it is hard to test what is affecting it.
While it is extremely annoying for M+ content, I just wanted to bring it up incase somebody figures out how to abuse this in PvP content or something.
Reloading UI does not fix the issue. Relogging does fix it for me, but thats just sometimes not possible like in a M+ run due to the time. I will be honest though, I haven’t tried too aggressively to pin point which add-on is causing this, if it is an addon issue at all. Was hoping the problem would just kinda go away LOL

Exact same thing happens to me too. Thought I was the only one experiencing this as none of my mates have this issue. I initially thought it was due to me using the Horn of Valor trinket as when I did use it, my character model would disappear. I’ve stopped using that trinket but still randomly go invisible so ruled the trinket out. Plus I’ve only ever noticed my model going invisible in Dragonflight dungeons whenever I do M+.
Are you using the Alagam of Rage mount by chance? ( that’s the diablo 4 preorder mount) My character will completely turn invisible after summoning Alagam sometimes.
