While I was deleting a couple older characters I didn’t need anymore, I found that somehow my main character, Vasyrmalia (Void Elf Rogue) on Moon Guard, had also somehow been deleted, even though I did not click on her to be removed. With character restoration down, is there anyway I can get this character back or will I need to wait?
This has also happened to me. I was ~140 points off 2500. What are the odds Blizzard that I’ll be able to achieve this before TWW launches? If they manage to un-screw this, will my weekly vault be filled as it should be after a day of 8 runs and 6 heroic raid bosses? Pretty f’ing frustrated right now.

ticket maybe? if you say you tried to delete someone else and it deleted your main instead they might restore the character for you since character restoration is down. unfortunately Blizz customer service kinda sucks and tickets take forever, and they’ll probably take even longer since this pre patch is pretty broken so they probably have a lot of tickets. so you’ll probably be waiting all day for a bot response and have to pester them for a real person to take a look and get anything done, so good luck with that.
alternatively characters above level 50 are kept forever after being deleted and can be restored whenever you want, I personally have a warrior stuck in my character restore menu from like a year and a half ago along with a couple other deleted characters, so assuming this is still true even though character resoration is down you should be able to restore your character when blizz turns it back on, if they don’t restore it via ticket.

as for the vault, it should still be as full as you left it. when you delete a character that character isn’t really deleted. it’s just moved to a sort of “trash bin” for a month where you can restore it before it’s actually deleted, unless that character is above level 50 where they stay in that “trash bin” forever. it’s left exactly the same while in that “trash bin” until either it’s deleted after a month (again, unless that character is above 50) or you restore the character and make changes to it yourself.
so, short answer “yes, your vault will be fine”

Just chiming in that I had this happen as well. Went to delete an old alt on a different server and it deleted one of my top four, even though the delete prompt listed the name of the toon i wanted to delete.

This just happened to me last night. Deleted a few toons under 25 and the first slot of my favs group ( and my main ) was deleted somehow even though I didnt select it at all. Put in a ticket for it so hopefully theres some response or at least we find a ballpark timeframe of when the undelete service will be back up
