If blizz is going to get serious with this in Shadowlands, I think its about time that the race/class boundaries need to be removed. I understand the need for them for things like Death Knights and Demon Hunters, despite DKs being freshly unrestricted. But why aren’t the other races allowed to play certain classes? Why can’t Draenei play rogues when the Eredar can? Why can’t forsaken play paladins when they can be priests? Why do we have druid gilnaeans and kul tirans but not ones from Stormwind? Why did the Lightforged Draenei forget how to be shaman?
I want goblin and worgen monk. My big request, and one I believe would cause more people to play this race;
Transformer Mechagnomes. Basically Druids. Not druids in the natural sense. Abilities would be the same, but the class would operate lore wise similar to other class/race combos.
Mechagnome druids would use mechanical forms. Their abilities would keep the same names as current druids, but all come from mechanical means for lore. We have sun walker Paladins, prelates (ztroll Paladin). Holy priest void elf and undead.
I don’t. Thankfully Blizz doesn’t seem to think so either.
Because Blizz has stated that we follow the culture of our race and the home city we come from. Regardless of what you think of it, the lore does matter. And homogenization is bad.
Now… if we’re just talking about a few being opened up to a few classes, then okay. Some things don’t make sense to be left out of some of the AR. But not all.
Because their current culture doesn’t support it. They aren’t Eredar.
Because they are two very different things.
Because Gilneans first learned primitive Nature magic and once they became Worgen, were linked to the Emerald Dream. And Kul Tirans were close to the Drust, learning similar and then finding their link through the Drust. Stormwind humans have never much been exposed to Nature in that respect nor needed it in their city.

What we NEED now, after so many years of this game being active, are interspecies allied races or customizations.
You can’t tell me that after so many years we don’t have more human/draenei, orc/troll, blood elf/night elf etc etc etc couplings out there.
No. Belves have zero respect for Nature or the Elements. If Belves ever got access to those classes, than it would be a sure sign that WoW is dead and desperate. Disgusting.
Considering there are only four Half-elves in this world and only one Half-orc, and they’re not even well received by the people of Azeroth… I don’t think we do have more. The races may work together, but most still keep pretty strictly to their own kind. Mixed races are viewed warily in this universe.
Considering the Celestials are Wild Gods, they do have a link.
Right?! Like you could even argue that the druids who healed the scar from the explosion in the pandaren start zone teach them. So it is not only possible through old gods/lore but they have guidance and teachers readily available lol.
Im thinking this will eventually happen hen they need to get people making alts again.
