Does anybody know if the gear used for the animated preview during character creation is obtainable anywhere?, paladin hammer looks really good but was unable to find anything similar

This is a really good question - I was wondering about one or two things I saw but figured I just hadn’t seen the items yet.

Use to be boost gear. Idk now
dk is nighthold
warrior is class order hall set
rogue is nighthold set
paladin hammer is artifact for prot
mage is wod gladiator
priest is normal uldir
warlock is normal antorus
druid is BRF from wod
monk is mythic nighthold
demon hunter is nighthold

Yes. Most of them are Legion sets, with a couple WoD ones thrown in.
As a ret paladin the only options I see are a bunch of Ashbringers, wasn’t the restriction lifted for off spec mogs?
It was, but you’re still bound by the normal weapon type restrictions. As a ret paladin using 2handers, you can use the holy artifact appearances, but not prot.
Tried equipping a one hand sword and got the same, a bunch of ashbringers
the lifted spec mogs are under the regular weapon stuff now not under legion artifacts
Oh! To use the offspec appearances, you have to find them in the relevant weapon category (maces, shields, swords, etc) not in the Legion Artifacts one.

Here you go.
The paladin weapon is the third tint of the “Balance of Power” prot weapon. The armor is from normal nighthold and emerald nightmare. And yeah, the tints for that weapon model are made to match the tints for that armor set. It’s rad.
