So I, on one server, have 8 (or 9) alliance characters, and 2 horde. I kind of want to experience all classes,(except for mage. Mage sucks) and a void elf monk
I already have a pandaren monk… So should I make another monk? On that server I have no duplicate races and haven’t done mage shaman priest or rogue.

When you want to quote someone else’s text, you just highlight the part you want, and tap the “Quote” button that appears.
The reply window will open and paste the quoted text inside.
All joking aside, you really should try Mage. It’s actually a great class.
As of a recent change, you can have a total of 50 characters all on the same realm. You have always been able to have up to 50 characters as far as I am aware, but the per realm count used to be much lower.
As for this: You can have all 50 characters on a single server now, if you like.
I currently have 47 characters (after deleting a few I was never going to play again) and 21 of them are on a single server, after a few paid transfers.
And I should say, having more than one of a class will allow you to pay different ones as different specs without having to switch.
I currently have 2 Shaman, 2 Paladins, and 2 Priests, to take advantage of the Allied Races.

Ehhh I tried a few times on my friends character. Mainly I didn’t like the casting time
True, it’s just not well suited to what some players enjoy. I like to right up in there, generally not a mage thing.
It’s not just the space I’m worried about… More that it’s hard to keep up with so many characters.
Oh it does get difficult after awhile. Its why I personally dont do that and stick with classes I know I can handle and enjoy
Last Xpac, I was using 8 characters.
Right now, I’m only at 7, partly because the content isn’t quite as interesting, but also that I have been a bit busier than before.
I have about 3 more characters that I have been slowly working on though. I’m hoping to have them all maxed before the expansion ends.
