Character Concept [Forsaken]

In your opinion, what is the most frightening/unsettling class that a Forsaken character could be, and how can that be expanded conceptually to go from mildly troubling to nightmare-inducing?

Rogue because they know how to poison and kill, and they could be anywhere at any time?

Warlock because they have no ethical limitations and they will gladly torture you and use your soul as an energy source?

Death Knight? An undead necromancer who oozes unholy corruption and disease?

Or is it something else entirely? The image of a rotting hunter dragging towards you with a decaying bear at his side is certainly unsettling, but I’m looking for an angle that could make a Stormwind human lose sleep at night simply pondering the “what ifs” of such a Forsaken even existing. Ideally, it could even unsettle or disgust members of the Horde. A character concept that is not only immoral, but frightening to those who encounter it.

Thus far, I’m leaning towards Warlock or Death Knight. I can’t currently imagine any other class being quite as terrifying to deal with should one become a target of their ire.

Does anyone have any ideas or inspirations for interesting Forsaken character concepts? I’m thinking of making one for RP, and I want the character to come across as memorable and morbid.

Perhaps an Apothecary who travels the world collecting the innards of murdered enemies to replenish the parts on their shambling creations, and perhaps even replace their own parts when they wear out? That has some potential to be unintentionally comical, but it could be cool too, depending on the presentation.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Paladin, because enough of them seem to be self-righteous pr*cks to garner a reputation as such. Having a rotten corpse version of that would just amplify and twist that personality i think.

Kinda like double frying something, huh?

A scarlet priest forsaken who’s mind is so twisted from the pain of using the light he see Horde’s red as his own now. The Forsaken are just the result of the scourge trying and “failing” to wipe out the defenders of his homeland and he sees the races of the Horde as a necessary ally, that they all came under a “new” banner to fight whatever threatens Azeroth, after all the light willed it.

It could be fun coming up with insane justifications for things.

“Why are you working for the horde against the Alliance?”
“Anyone who stands against our light blessed unity and my people deserve to get purged in holy flame!”

A forsaken death knight in the lore would’ve been slain by the scourge and raised, broken free, slain AGAIN and raised by the lich king as a death knight, and broken free AGAIN.

This character would be mentally exhausted

From a Murlocs point of view, it would be a Forsaken Destruction Warlock
