Is there a reason as to why you can’t clone your classic Era character over to cataclysm?
They already have the tech to allow you to do so.
Cannot think of a reason as to how it would be game breaking Etc.
Talking about the characters after TBC was launched. ( Not the ones that were deleted )
Because Blizz told us before Classic Vanilla launched they would not do this. There are items that no longer exist in current era. Would you be ok losing those items?
Sure, and allow copy to retail as well.
As long as they don’t allow copy into era it will be good.
Only that that is not an available feature. Other than that, I can’t think of any.

Era is the start of the game should be ok to transfer as a one way ticket
I think that would be a really cool feature, level to 60 in Era and then translate over to Cata or Retail.
