Someone told me they saw this was being increased to 60. I don’t see anything on this anyone know for sure?

I saw on MMO Champion or whatever that it’s being increased to 60. I haven’t seen a blue post about it, but I really hope so. My dracthyr will make that my 50th toon.

I think Ion Hazzikostas mentioned something about looking into increasing the character cap in an interview a while back. I don’t think there was any mention of a specific new character cap, though.

It’s always been 50. It used to be you could only have like 10 per server, but then they moved it to 12, then made it so you can have 50 spread across as many or as few servers as you want.

i already made my alt sacrifice to the gods and created a named placeholder for my dragon thing.

Looks like MMO Champion and Wowhead are reporting 10 more character slots with the Dragonflight prepatch:
Really happy to see more available character slots, as I’ve been getting dangerously close to the cap. Wouldn’t mind the character cap increasing more in the future, as speaking only for myself, I’d be willing to pay to have more slots. But getting 10 more for now is still exciting and great to see!

I really don’t know how anyone can play 40 different characters, let alone 50. Of course i cheat that way and have two accounts. I keep both at 49, but am actually only playing 13 out of the 98. Every toon i still allow to live has a memory. Some i created, but mainly they were my daughters’ toons. I cant bring myself to delete them.
Anyone that wants more slots should consider 2 accounts.
I love playing 2 at once even without any hardware or software help.

I’m not gonna pay 30$ a month to feed my habit lol nor am I gonna farm all that gold. I keep many toons I don’t play anymore because I’m sentimental about them. Call me weird if you like but meh. I also find it handy to have alts because I can farm for mounts, coughloverocketough and if I decide I want to mog farm, more chances to be disappointed.

Let me see. 10 more slots per WoW account X the number of accounts I have. equals ALTS! ALTS AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE!
