"Character Boosts are not in keeping with Classic. We don't want to break any hearts."

I have 2 accounts, you best bet ill be using both boosts.

But if someone wants to spend hundreds of dollars on a boost for numerous accounts and keep paying $14 per month for each thats their deal. It doesnt effect me.

its not much different from buying gold and then paying a mage to boost now.

People are just mad at the thought about the word “boost”.

stop stalking me

I mean no offense, but if that’s all the time you have to play then how would you even raid log? You would need to level profs, level reps, make enough gold for consumes and flying (or farm the mats to make consumes).

I’m sorry friend, but if you truly only have 5-8 hours a week to play then an MMORPG may not be the right genre for you.

Boosts will be a good thing. People have to stop being extremists and toxic on forums and learn to move on.

The boosts are important.
“Hey come play TBC Classic with me.”
“OK.”
“You gotta start at level 1. It will take you a while. I’ll be over here in Outland.”
“Does leveling take long?”
“It’s kind of time consuming. But it’s really old-school fun. You get the authentic 2007 MMO experience.”
“… Wait, what about this Shadowlands xpack that comes with a level boost so we can play the new stuff together right away? Let’s do that instead.”

People are mad because this is a pay to win feature being added even though they are putting limitations on it. But sadly it seems that players will always look for ways to be lazy if they have the money for it. So I am not upset at Blizzard for doing this whatsoever. If anything, I am upset at the players who don’t have the dignity to play the game as it was intended.

But at the same time, how does someone having a character HURT you?

Why does someone like me, who doesn’t have the 100+ hours to level to 60 getting a boosted character hurt you? Wouldn’t it just mena another person who can fill a raid or a dungeon slot? How is it hurting you that I can get to play?

Is it because you feel like you slogged through leveling that everyone else should? If that’s so, do you ride a horse to work? Because they used to and I would HATE to deprive you of that experience.

I play alot of MMOs that have alot of boost services and I NEVER understood why people are against them? TO me its just a way to get someone else PLAYING the game that could become an asset to me and my guild.

Maybe im crazy but I have bought characters in Everquest. Ive paid for Powerlevels and paid for peoples accounts JUST to keep them playing so I have more people to play with. Maybe Im crazy, but that’s all I care about, having more people to play with.

Some friend.

What the correct thing to say is;
“What class do you want to level? I’ll level with you it’ll be awesome. We’ll get to go through the game again and see all the awesome stuff together!”

LOL. Thats hilarious because when I QUIT WoW classic over a year ago was because me and 1 of my RL had this EXACT conversation. He didnt want to catchup to me to level 38 and spend 50+ hours doing it, but we could start right away in Live so we did and I quit classic.

Then don’t play the game.

Don’t ask for or expect the game to changed to cater towards you and your entitled nature.

pay to win would be like if you got access to cata at launch gear that you could only access by paying, in classic or tbc. that has never happened in any version of retail at any point. the p2w stuff only happens on private servers. if you don’t want to look completely clueless at least learn what things mean before using phrases.

except you’re the one throwing a fit and trying to say a blue poster doesn’t even agree with what they just posted. it’s happening. if you don’t like it? “then don’t play the game.”

I couldn’t care less about you to be honest.

I’d rather much take someone else who was able to actually put in the work to get to max level over someone who’s only there because they bought it.

When the going gets tough people like you leave.

Kaivax, please do NOT change your mind on providing A SINGLE BOOST PER ACCOUNT because you are right when you say this:

Some of us just want to get to TBC content right away. Since we can only do it ONCE, though, it shouldn’t be a big deal to anyone.

It’s not a max level boost. It’s a boost to play in Outland. They still have to level to 70 by playing TBC content.

Good grief, get over yourself. Do you know how many times I’ve leveled characters in this game? I have DOZENS of characters now. I’m currently working on my 16th MAX LEVEL.

I don’t think a SINGLE SKIP of some content is going to be that world-breaking.

No one is throwing a fit. And of course they’re going to say that, they work for blizzard and will do what they’re told, whether or not they agree with what they are told to say.

That’s the plan
