Blizz, how do you plan on compensating the people who paid for the lvl 120 character boost just to see it nerfed back down to lvl 50?
Every piece of information I can find says that the 120 boost only went on sale after Shadowlands, and the level squish that would accompany it, were announced.
So basically, if you bought a 120 boost after knowing levelling would be getting substantially easier, that’s entirely on you. Sorry!
Actually, if you buy character boosts period that’s entirely on you. Imagine paying to not play the game you paid for.
There’s no compensation required, you got what you paid for.
Why would you be compensated? It was a max level boost, and still is now. Nothing changed.
Try again.
I don’t have to, unless you find something that says the contrary.
Makes sense, but I never saw an announcement regarding it. Have a link?
…A link to what?
No one owes you anything.
Next.
Sunday was yesterday.
Love the toxic personality. I agree, please do move on.
Sorry, let me be less toxic.
No one owes you anything.
They don’t… The boost still takes you to the current maximum level in the game.
I was looking for information/explanation regarding the level squish. I understand that this might have gone over your head and comprehension.
I have since caught up on it and found the answers myself. So, your contribution to this thread has been about as useless as you. =)
We known about the level squish several serval months in advance. Heck we knew of it when they sent that survey out asking us. If you bought the boost at start of BFA from then till before the squish that is on you. That was your decision. /shrugs/ They will not compensate.
Edit: and besides the boosts always becomes pointless when a new expansion and new levels pop up. /shrug/
That is so great for you! So this needy thread can close then since it is all figured out!
Positivity!
People do return to the game my friend. My only mistake was coming here for information, but instead I run into low level trolls.
To information everyone knew about since about this time last year.
See the above comment. /closethread.
It’s no different than people spending hundreds of thousands of gold for heritage armor to boost the speed of how fast someone reaches max level. I’d say the average person would tell you that their actual game begins at max level and not during the leveling process.
I like to actual level though, that is part of the actual game for me. For many, it’s just a small roadblock to begin actually playing the game.
