So, it’s $40 instead of $60.
So, those that want to use a Boost… Umm… Go ahead, I guess.
Faction, Name Change, Character Transfer, and Race Change are on sale too.
Epic Edition upgrade is on sale too. Eh, $20 was too much, but I’ll do $12.

What pathetically lazy soul needs to pay to not play the game…
I guess, someone that works a lot and doesn’t want to do WoD again for super leveling.
I’m fine. My Hunters are doing okay.
If they work a lot then they should be banned from playing a time wasting game like WoW.
Blizzard loves their money too much as they’re the #1 WoW token buyers.
As someone who hates leveling, if you’re spending money on that boost you’re crazy. Leveling is so ridiculously fast now.
Its still just lvl 60, right? Seems a waste of money at any amount mid expansion. Now if it were 70, maybe. But you can time walk 60-70 in a day. More so during dmf
Listen man, I’d agree if you’re pretty new. But I’d say the majority of us have had a few trips around the park. Leveling sucks and its not very exciting content
I think youre being baited by someone. I wouldnt go along with it.
The boost isnt worth even $40, in my opinion.
It was barely worth paying for when leveling was a slog.
I do get it though. If I compare hourly income to time spent leveling to 60, it does add up to just buy the boost as far as a time investment.
I already “boosted” 7 alts myself. Leveling so easy…
If you don’t like the content then why are you here?
Just play the game bruh.
Takes like 5-6 hours to level if you know your way around or use addons to tell you what to do.
Most of us play end game stuff…I have 80 days on this character I paid 60 bucks for a boost for in BFA
I guess I don’t like the content cause I paid to skip 20 of those hours.
Back in my day we played games to earn our rewards and not with our wallets.
Only time we use wallets were to buy the actual game. Ahh the good ol days.
Go play classic then. Getting to max level isn’t hard or an achievement it never was. It’s just a time sink.
I played classic to 60 and did all the raids and I’m telling you. It’s not hard or an achievement
End game is the worst part of WoW. It’s literally just a slot machine with a gimmick designed to keep you subbed. It’s god awful content that only people with very low standards think is good.
It is definitely not worth staying subbed for years for.
I’ve never purchased a boost and I likely never will. That said, now that leveling is so quick I don’t really see them as problematic for the game in any way. When leveling took a long(er) time, you could argue that people were going to miss out on learning about what they would need to know to enjoy the end game- things like the nuances of their class and developing social contacts and all that. But right now you level so quickly that most people aren’t really going to learn much before hitting current content anyway.
It’s still a rip off.
It’s not about being lazy. Is that really the only reason you can come up with for using a boost?
Some people want to play with friends/family but don’t have a lot of off-time to play games so they use a boost to catch up to their friends/family.
And it is not a rip-off.
It’s only $60 to get 70 levels. It takes an average of 15-25 hours depending on how many people are playing to reach level 70 from level 1. (More people playing = faster queues for dungeons).
This means blizzard is only charging about $1 per level. To level from 1-70 could take a player a few days up to a couple weeks depending on how much time they play each day.
Anyways, let’s say 20 hours to level 70. That’s 20x2 = $40 so it’s within a range of $20 if you charge $2 per hour. I’m sure some people take 50-100 hours to reach level 70 or possibly more.
When it comes to saving time, there’s no such thing as a rip off because the value of time is different for each person.
Seems about right, didn’t they nerf the xp/level in the midrange by about 33% going into Dragonflight?
Pass the savings on to you.
I used a boost from Shadowlands game pack and quickly learned it’s garbage. A monkey can level to 60 just as easily in two days, with better gear than they give you, and have an easier time to pick up the next expansion. It’s hard to argue the moral deficiencies of the levelling boost when the demonstrable value is so bad. Considering you lose the ability to unlock heritage items, it’s even worse. There is nothing compelling about the Blizzard boost and it is worthless. IMO? I suppose so.
