Is character appearance change available for “Classic WoW” too, or not? I know I did it in the “retail” version years ago, just not sure if it applies to this new awesome “Classic” one too.

Changing a character’s appearance wasn’t a feature in vanilla WoW, so it’s unlikely it will become available for Classic.

Kinda silly, what you can’t adjust a simple makeup on your character - where is the harm in that?

You know what - I’m sure it’s coming in the future. Blizzard probably have it hands full with other issues right now, and as soon as they done with “bigger fish”, I’m sure they would offer this service for Classic too - why would they skip on extra income? It doesn’t “ruin” Classic experience in any way shape or form.

On the one hand I’d love it, but on the other hand I doubt they’ll actually do it. It’s not like Blizzard is hurting for money and they gave us Classic only so they could control the experience, not because they would benefit in any way from it (after all, it’s free with a sub to main).
Some people wanted Classic, they got Classic and they’ll get to suffer through all the crappiness that is Classic. That means it’s highly unlikely they’ll give us the ability to appearance change.
Still…would be nice. Especially for those of us who are only putting ourselves through this again because we love our friends.
Some people are only subbed because of classic (such as myself). They released classic to make money, so if I had to guess I’d say they’ll add character customization tokens soon.

Likely you will see things come in in the following order :
Free characters moves (already happening)
Paid character transfers ( $25 ? )
Paid Race changes ( $35 ? )
Paid name changes ( $ 10 )
Then finally paid appearance changes ( $25 )

If Blizzard makes concessions for your little hobby horse, then they’re making them for everyone else’s. And that’s how we get retail.
