It would change the game. You don’t change a 10-year-old game, since the ONLY REASON that players are even PLAYING that game is to play the 10-year-old game. So yes, any change WOULD hurt.

Players in the forums seem to think that TBC is a “sandbox” game, that can be changed into any game that players want. It is the opposite. It isn’t even a new game. It’s a copy of an old game.

If Blizzard wants to introduce any change to WoW, it will be in Retail. The LAST place they would make a change is in a copy of the old game.

That’s not what I’m saying, lol. You’ve liked almost every post I’ve made in the other topics. I’m saying it’s a WOTLK-era feature as a counterpoint to people saying “go to retail” and stuff like that because it’s not a Shadowlands or BFA feature, but a WOTLK feature, from an expansion widely regarded as the best in WoW’s history.

In other words, I’m saying yes, we should have paid appearance changes in TBC Classic lol

it was a joke :3 maybe that paladin guy is insecure about what his character looks like, thats why he displays his helmet. no wonder he doesent want appearance change, so everyone can suffer with him.

People, “go back to retail” as if it’s the same game. :roll_eyes: They might have the same names, but they’re definitely two different games now. Classic/TBC made people fall in love with the game simply because of how it plays. Retail made the same people fall out of love with the game simply because of how it plays.

And lose their pvp title, mount, gear, profession skills, items they’ve collected throughout their journey, and their time investment? And say somebody does just that, and they spend all that time getting those things back that they worked for since August 26, 2019 on a new character… does that affect you personally?

That’s a rhetorical question; it doesn’t affect you at all. Your opinion is that someone should throw away everything they worked for and do it all over again just to change their hair, when the fact of the matter is that whether they reroll or spend money on a service that changes their appearance, the end result ends up being exactly the same, and it doesn’t affect you in the slightest.
