Does anyone know if you will be able to transfer a character to a new account under your name in tbc like you can in retail. I know this feature came out in the original either tbc prepatch or release, i did it back then to level two of my characters together and would like to do it once again.

So far there is no mention of account to account transfers. It remains to be seen if this will be something we can do in TBC or not.

I hope they add it… I think it was a feature that came with server transfer as long as it was within your own account… I think alot of Classic players have two accounts and especially with Blizzards recent changes in regards to multiboxing there are a lot of people who are going to have to abandon characters they leveled. I hope they add it.

anyone find an answer on this? i will have 2 chars on different accounts within my battle account that i’d love to consolidate together in BC

Taken from their support article:
The Character Transfer service allows you to move a character to another Burning Crusade Classic progression realm only.
It is not possible to transfer a Burning Crusade Classic character to another WoW account or Battle.net account.
It is not possible to transfer a character between Modern WoW, WoW Classic, and Burning Crusade Classic.
Come on Blizz. There are posts every day for this service, which was available in live TBC. I want to re-jig my horde and ally characters across several accounts into 2. I’d pay $100 each

Even if that were true, your game experience isn’t affected. There are others with genuine demand. I played three 60s and regretted having them on one account.

So I’m confused. It says not between games, was there a patch they let us transfer characters onto another wow account? Or are they basically saying we are dreaming and they will always be separate?
I would 100% pay $100 to transfer them too!
I’ve seen so many posts like these it’s kinda ridic that nobody from blizz will answer. It was available back in vanilla actually. No reason to not have it. I also want to consolidate my characters.

I offer $200 to transfer.

Wouldn’t this allow players to easily bypass the one Boost per Account limit?
Get a second Account.
Pay for the one Boost allowed.
Transfer the Boost to your main account.
Cancel the second account then make another.
Repeat until you have as many level 58’s as you want/can afford.
It’s a lot of money but that doesn’t seem to stop some people.

You’re making some big leaps of faith here. It’s also a weird stance to take.
Not for or against but Blizz does have a limit currently for whatever reason and this obviously allows players to bypass it. If they add paid Boosts later then they add them later.
