Chaos Theory or Burning Wounds?

Like most people have said, Chaos theory (even though its rng) is more “burst” where burning wounds is a lot more “pad”. Chaos theory, when procced, gives significantly more kill potential than burning wound if you stun someone (especially healers). However, burning wound is also a LOT of damage to the point where it goes beyond pad, because it makes healers have to spend their globals healing over cc/doing damage etc, and that pressure can force people to play defensive.

I played a lot with both last night at ~2800 and my opinion after that is to play burning wound into anything you can reliably cleave (melee cleaves), and chaos theory into anything that will be isolated and with reduced uptime (think wizards or RMP).

TL;DR Burning wound better when you can hit 2+ guys regularly, chaos theory otherwise.

Try necro, it offers a lot more survivability and does big dam, especially with a kyrian moonkin

yeah on 2.2 maybe. Once you get above that u might realize that necro DH is on par with ww and war when played with a balance for instance.

Actually just went necro/bw last night and it’s insane. So much sustain it’s almost disrespectful.

You are insane if you think that. Watch tren play at rank 1 level and realize DH is far from WW and Arms.

Thanks for this info much Nasra, so Burning when cleaving on targets w/ Dancing w/ Fate conduit and Chaos when on a single target w/ Relentless Onslaught conduit.

Speaking of conduits, how come I see people dropping Relentless Onslaught conduit (Especially w/ CT) for Dancing w/ Fate?

? I don’t need to watch anything, theres multiple DH’s already playing around 3.2 mmr without having struggles at all. In fact, they win everything except RMP
