Chaos Strike Know your enemy Crit builds along with Chaos Strike Shattered Destiny haste builds feel very weak right now, even with the recent buffs to chaos strike and serrated glaive.

Let’s get DH some more viable builds since the mastery glaive one isn’t enough. Buff them until these crit and haste builds also do 25% more damage than every other spec in the game.
Dh does a lot of pad damage but feels like it really lacks in lethal damage / securing killing blows

Eye beam + the hunt (optional) + essence break + death sweep every 45s is like 100-0 if someone doesn’t press

the hunt seems pretty lackluster too.
im not saying DH is bad. it does amazing sustain, it has great mobility and cc imo… but it doesnt feel like its the “killer” if that makes sense
It just got unnerfed and is extremely potent right now
imagine a world where demon hunters dont do 300k with just 1 eye beam

It’s hilarious that as a Mastery stacked DH with Any Means Necessary talent (makes it so all their non-chaos damage ability counts as chaos damage so their Mastery buffs them too) has their 1.5M CD The Hunt ability (which is now chaos damage and is BUFFED by their stacked Mastery) still only hit for about as much as my 5s CD RSK… LMAO

yeah THE HUNT def doesnt chunk hp bars like it used to… it kinda just seems like a long range chaos strike with a dot tbh

I’ve crit for over 200k on the initial hit in arena. It doesn’t 1 shot anyone but it can still slap if used at the right time.

My DH’s fully 450 geared Hunt hits for about 115k normal hit… That is less than a single turretable Chaos Bolt and about the same as a RSK.
I get that it shouldn’t do huge 1 shot burst, and no ability should, but like 100k for a 1.5M CD ability after it’s been buffed to its max for damage is a bit weak.

Nice, that’s about 40k less than my RSK crit.
crap i wish mine hit that hard.
96k was the hardest hitting HUNT i had in my last solo lobby.
overall… THE HUNT was 6.5% of my overall damage
almost seems like its not worth pressing lol
