It seems this patch, now when i have a Chaos bolt proc, it makes me wait til i have the 2 shards even though its free. I feel like its never been like this. Why would I need the 2 shards if the cast is free??

Must be a bug. I just ran LFR and I was casting mine with 1 shard
I’m bugged as well. Just did a delve where it requires the shards to cast a Ritual of Ruin proc’d Chaos Bolt, and costs the shards when it should be free.
The talent is called “Ritual of Ruin” btw.
I came to the forum expecting to see more people talking about this bug. I can get through T11 delves fine still, but it certainly doesn’t help. Would love a fix
