PLEASE GET RID OF CHAOS BOLT ALREADY! IT’S WORTHLESS!!! IT COST WAY TOO MANY RESOURCES JUST TO HIT LIKE A WET NOODLE!!! I’m so sick of spending all my time trying to build up shards in pvp for a lil 2 or 3 chaos bolt burst, then it does even do damage to other players!!! Other players can literally take 3 or 4 chaos bolts easy and not even be concerned!!! GET RID OF CHAOS BOLT ALREADY AND GIVE US AN INSTANT CAST SPELL OR PROCT SPELL THAT WORKS WITH INCINERATE OR RIFT!!!

20% of your damage coming from 1 spell isn’t enough?
If they made it hit harder they’d have to make it castable less often. That’s simple balance. They’ve just given that treatment to Demonbolt, and it feels bad.
Not true. 4 Chaos Bolts would force CDs and potentially kill, especially if timed correctly.
But do you realize how many CB’s youre casting? Like 10 a minute. Even more in AOE situations. 3 CBs shouldn’t be KO-ing people just off the merit of casting 3CBs.
If you don’t want to cast in PVP, Destro is not the spec for you. Check out Frost Mage or BM Hunter.
I don’t know about everyone else. But i would rather have a lower cast time, harder hitting chaos bolt than spamming them. Even if it cost another soul shard to balance it or whatever. Trying to hard cast anything with what I’ve seen in TWW is going to be a nightmare unless you get very lucky and they aren’t focusing you. Make it like it used to be where chaos bolt is actually feared more.
Get… rid of it? Uhh. No. How about fix it if it’s that bad (It’s not).
They just need to tune bolt up a bit more, not remove it. Improved bolt still feels underwhelming, CI is underwhelming now, etc.
If it means Rancorra catches a nerf, so be it, but CB needs more love.
Also, and I’m prob a minority in this, but I would rather them buff the hell out of Rift than keep pushing Shadowburn. I’ve played around with SB and it does feel pretty good to press but I don’t like how spammy it feels in execution.
Destro in general needs some serious attention, but I don’t think gutting core abilities is the way to go.

Idk what y’all are talking about about, 2 chaos bolts and I’m popping defensives. Acting like it’s a Full Moon charge build up, cast time and underwhelming damage.
