What is a good addon for switching gear? Like from Protection to Fury or fishing gear.
Probably none? You can drag equipment sets from the Equipment Manager to your action bars to automatically switch between them as long as you’re out of combat.
I PvE and PvP, so having it be a single click away is real convenient.

Anyone? I would like to do some fishing without taking 20 minutes switching gear.
I just have an equipment set saved as Fish in the equipment manager, which is the base game.

The only piece of fishing gear I’m aware of apart from a pole is a hat. How’s right clicking a hat in your inventory take 20 minutes? Though I just saw Sendryn’s post, so I guess there’s more than that if it’s worth creating an entire gear set for. You can also tag a set as belonging to a spec in the gear manager, so it’ll put you into that set when you switch.

the in-game equipment manager does this.
You can set a named gear set to a spec (i.e. prot vs fury) in the in-game equipment manager. fishing/gathering gear can be set but would have to be swapped with the manager.

I have boots, as well. They’re from a BfA quest. Not sure what other pieces are around. I think gloves, too?

As Guuah said. You can have many different equipment sets. You make them, save them, then put it on a bar. Click the button and you instantly swap to the set.
My question is what more do you want than that?

Used to have an addon called Outfitter, but the in game system works well enough as it is.

Gear manager already built in.
You don’t need one. You just need to make a Fishing outfit in the Equipment Manager, and Bob’s yer uncle.

I found the equipment manager just like you said and thank you. I had one problem while sitting up the fishing gear. I equipe my fishing pole and a big box popped up and it said fishing gear something. So I clicked back to the manager and the pole was gone. Do you by chance no what happen to it?
That, I don’t know. Maybe you need a specific kind of fishing to equip it? I think fishing is split by expansion, now.
I’m no expert on fishing, so I can’t give a good answer on that, sadly.

Check your professions tab maybe. Don’t quote me, but I think fishing poles are a profession trinket now, meaning they’d go into the profession item slot. I don’t fish or really do professions, so take that with a grain of salt.
This is correct. You no longer have to equip a fishing pole in the weapon slot, it goes into the profession equipment slot (top right corner on any profession skill page).
None of the currently available gear swapping addons do a good job. They haven’t been maintained well.
