Does anyone know how to change all the font in the wow classic client? I’ve tried the old “Fonts” folder method but it doesn’t seem to do anything in game.
I made a Fonts folder and did the rename trick and it worked for me.
Just straight in the classic directory? I have the fonts folder there with the 4 renamed files inside and it’s not working, maybe they are named differently.
If your’e testing literally right now, then you’d need to test in the “_classic_beta_” folder
I’m just opening the classic client and checking to see if the fonts have changed on the character screen, as we can’t login yet obviously.
Do those change? I’ve never tried changing fonts, I always thought it was only in-game fonts that changed… (I could be very wrong, of course)
They do yeah, I was using them on private servers and that’s how I used to check I liked a font on the character screen. That was the old wow client tho so it might be different.
I just logged on to the Classic loading screen right now and the Server List and My Character List are all the Font I set in the new Font folder I made.
Are you sure you’re naming the Fonts correctly? You just need to replace Friz Quadrata if you want to see if it’s working because that’s the main font and is used on the Login and Character select screen.
Got it working, I had .ttf on the end of the files and it wasn’t necessary.

Thanks for this thread! I was trying to change the font as well with no luck…i deleted the .ttf at the end and it works fine now
