Changing chat channels

Hello y’all, having trouble trying to change chat channels but everytime I try it says channel doesn’t exist. I have been getting around that by flying out of the area/capital city. Obviously I am typing the command wrong but the help in the chat command isn’t to helpful.

What would the command be say to change from general to trade? Say for example as if I’m looking for a crafter to make a q5 profession tool.

First, understand what channels you are actually in, and what numbers they are on.

Right-click the “General” tab on your chat.

Choose “Settings”

Choose “Channels”

Now you see what channels you have, what numbers they are on.

If this seems messed up, you can click “Chat Defaults” to reset to default.

Then tick or untick to get to the channels you need.
