Does anyone know if there are any plans to change Azerite armor so that it saves your trait based on what spec you are in? Similar to how talents are saved to each spec individually. I’d like go quest as Enhancement or Elemental, while go Resto in dungeons without having to respec the armor every time.
I understand keeping the respec requirement active for changing an Azerite trait while remaining the same spec, but as it is now it feels like it locks you into one style of gameplay.
I doubt they’ll do that. They seem intent on forcing people to either take a generic trait, play their off spec without the traits, or carry around a second set of gear.
They said no in a QnA. Am I happy about it? Personally, no. When we had tier, that swapped with our spec. I guess it’s not going to happen with this system.
They want you to get a full set for every spec. So 9 pieces. Then if you want an aoe set it’s 12 pieces. Add a PvP set and it’s 15 pieces. Now the Azerite vendor (the only reliable source of Azerite armor) will give a piece about every 3 weeks, so in about 45 weeks you can get all the armor you need. I’m super glad they fixed all the problems with Azerite.
