To all the #change people you won. The game you want with class balance, viable raid specs, transmog, sharding, cross realm bgs, LFD, LFR, mythic +, raider io, multiple raid difficulties, Diablo style loot, new content, achievements and anything I left out or forgot about are all in BFA.
You won. That is what you cried for years and asked for. Now please leave classic alone. People want to enjoy classic wow for what it was and not what it has become.
Love you all. Come try classic with us. Even if you never played it or where to young. Come with an open mind and maybe you will be pulled in to.
Hear, hear.
With sharding, loot trading, and 7.3.5 API - #nochanges lost... Not sure why you're asking for the community to not change the game when the devs have already began to change it.

Okay. I appreciate that last sentence. I thought you were exaggerating beyond anything I've ever seen on these forums. I thought you meant since there is sharding there are gunna be all of those too.
Thanks for that. You are a gem in a sea of salt.

"We may have lost our keep, our castle crumbling beneath the flames of this terrible war... They may have burned our homes, destroyed our crops and pillaged our villages. But by all who seek me standing here today! We injured their boy Johnny!! We may have lost hundreds of men but his aggony of pain was worth it! We won this war!"
This whole all are nothing approach coming from the change, no change crowds is unfortunate.
Actually, everyone that wants to play WoW:Classic won.
Change or nochange alike.
It's coming, and it looks great.
(Also, Blizzard. Please keep sharding for the starting zones turned on for a limited launch window and don't listen to the loud vocal minority against it. Thanks!)

It's more like, how about you try it out before you ask for changes. Almost every day you see one more please change Ret pally dps. It is usually that hybrid out of all the bunch but that is something that has not changed since Vanilla.
All I am asking is give it a shot. As having to re-tune ret paladins would mean a total redesign of just not the tier but every class also. Which does lead back to where BFA ended up.
They havent giving in to class balance and raid retuning yet, so the fight during the beta for more common sense changes continues. All classes should be able to perform their possible specs to a degree of efficiency, all tanks should have a working taunt at the very least aswell.
I gave it a shot in actual vanilla, and I want some changes to glaring and exploitability issues that were in the game.11/09/2018 08:09 AMPosted by Hawttie11/09/2018 05:24 AMPosted by KatyushåThis whole all are nothing approach coming from the change, no change crowds is unfortunate.

Each expansion was, in a way, designed to fix errors of the previous version of the game. People that don't sub to current iterations of the game obviously don't care for the fixes.

Changes and new concepts are added each expansion, some great, some dont really work out but the newest expansion is always superior to the last one in my personal opinion.

You won't even get past level 40 in three months unless you have no outside life.

aside from minor things, did people really expect to have two versions of bfa?
when that money could have been used to enhance current bfa/wow?
of course they are going to be two different games. and for two different player bases. what would be the logic in doing anything else?
that said- this is why pro changers have a lot of disappointment ahead of them. and its best they accept the above now, and save themselves some salt later. if classic is not the version for you- that is why current exists.
11/09/2018 12:08 PMPosted by Moonbladeof course they are going to be two different games.
It isn't. Two different server types for the same game, World of Warcraft. Hence one sub for the game.

Perhaps. But nochangers are going to have a lot of disappointment ahead of them also. Sharding at launch, right-click report, loot trading... All these non-Vanilla things working their way into Classic.
So far, I think there's been a good compromise.

Problem most people have is there was never supposed to be any compromise. Blizzard said they wanted to recreate the "authentic Classic experience" which they are not doing. They straight up lied to their customers.
11/09/2018 12:19 PMPosted by MonorvendThey straight up lied to their customers.
Not really. They said as close as possible to the "Vanilla experience" on the modern hardware.
Compromise is going to be a part of that.
"Authentic Vanilla experience" in no way, shape, or form says Vanilla 1:1 port.
#changes won, get over it! Suck it, #nochangers!

maybe you missed where i said aside from minor things.
we dont know the extent of sharding yet, though that doesnt mean i like it. it shouldnt be there at all, i agree. and i want it gone. but we will see how blizz handles this situation as we move forward.
loot trading, i also agree is a big no. it needs gone. and it creates further toxicity. i cant say (aside from customer support levels) what the point of it was but it means the community will have to be 10x more vigilant.
and i dont see anyone mentioning the fact that classic will have the new mail system. aside from the 1 hour wait. why is no one angry over this? that open all button will be at the bottom and we will be able to open ALL of our mail at once. this was never a thing then either.
its no changes or all changes. people cant cherry pick.
