Changes to the Nokhud Offensive

In case anyone hasn’t done the instance since the patch. You no longer use your dragonflight to get around it. There are “flight masters”. They take you to the next event in the instance.

Also the last fight is very different. There is no skipping the entrance to the last boss either.

My big problem is that I always got lost trying to get from encounter to encounter, especially the last boss. So I am kinda glad for this.

I think this is specific to normal/heroic queue via LFD and has been for a little while (need a fact check on this, I don’t do LFD)

Works as it did in Keys

Those flightmasters had always been there. Can you not Dragonride in there now?

Wait dragonriding is straight upd isabled or optional?

Disabled. It may be Normal only. Since DF is the new player experience starting in War Within. So starts at level 10.

How that’ll work with acquiring dragonriding five minutes into Waking Shores at level 10, I have no idea.

its normal only that its disabled might be a bug idk

Works as it always did in m+. With sky riding.

Not sure it’s a bug. It makes sense to me to make it only using flightpaths, due to it being the new player experience. And no one gets dragonriding until level 20.

With it being only in Normal, it makes sense that the easy queued version while leveling is dumbed down.

Ehh I dislike dumbing things down, even for newbies.

You gotta learn somehow right?

Though, yes if the dungeon is queable BEFORE you even GET dragon riding then that’s just plain dumb design.

I had 2 different eperiences, as a follower dungeon, I could not, but when I entered the way I would for a Mythic or M+, I could.

The original design intent was Nokhud comes after you get dragonriding.

The removal of dragonriding freely from Nokhud in Normal queue is so that the group stays together, no one has to learn where to go or shortcuts or gets screwed out of things.

Yes, because as everyone has been saying, it’s in Normal. Which is queued content. So are follower dungeons. Mythic is not queueable content.

Just did a few tests all with entering through the portal, results:

  1. Normal difficulty=Skyriding no go
  2. heroic difficulty (can be queued)=Skyriding is a go
  3. mythic difficulty=skyriding is a go

I just did it yesterday and was able to dragonfly around.

Which difficulty level? It’s only changed in Normal.

M+11, if it’s only on normal then it doesn’t really matter.
