That would definitely a far more acceptable ‘reason’ for having made the change, as it shows a problem they are trying to solve, opposed to actually saying nothing. Players may still be upset by the change, but by sharing something, you try to engage the player base and share your thought process, and at least appear more transparent.

This is fine. You guys gave us charity for years by not changing your prices while taking a personal financial hit due to the fluctuating buying power of the dollar. People will complain but they’re just entitled.
Except they’re not changing their prices, they’re gouging people who aren’t paying for the game the way Blizzard wants them to.
And yes, people are entitled to the same product for the same amount of money.

As long as you’re ‘thinking’, maybe you should consider how paying more money for the same amount of game time as someone using a pre-authorized payment is the antithesis of ‘fair share’.
Blizzard is a small indie company and they need the money to keep people employed and pay to keep all their services running. You’re acting like that stuff is free.

They are not changing US prices. They have adjusted prices in various other countries. Some of that is related to currency exchange rates of course. They don’t exactly line up though so depending on currency some places do pay a bit more at times.
“Entitled” is kind of a loaded word. We are only entitled to certain things granted by law or guaranteed by a contract. We are not entitled to tell a business how to handle their payment methods.
What players do have the right to do though, is vote with wallets.

This is seriously just another reason to not resub to WoW. I have been using the 1month recurring sub forever. Take it away for no reason lol. This is game is turning to trash. Sad to see as I grew up with this game. Devs ruined it.
Why is this even an issue when WoW tokens exist and Shadowlands rain gold from the sky? It just seems like people are using flimsy excuses to complain and be a nuisance.

Yes, stop expecting businesses to make a product or service that you would like to purchase at a price that you agree with. Also, discard any expectations surrounding the company or nature of the product, service, or transaction that you might like to have.
