You get the upgrade item, go back to the reach camp and them remove the stone you want to upgrade from the ring and then use the upgrade item on that stone.
Yeah annoying you can’t upgrade the stones when they are in the ring.
And you only need two upgrade items per stone to get them to ilvl 424.

So when’s then next stone buff coming??? for anyone with the 418/421 (heck my 415 COS ring is better…¿¿?? what¿?) rings they are still mostly downgrades… or at least as some that give stats so those who don’t get good synergy with the stones can get starts @ 424 that are good for them… IE arms war
If your current rings are already better for you, then just don’t use the annulet ring.
I can’t even get all the stones I need anyways let alone try them out lol
they have stated they want them to be bis for all, and they aren’t so seems like a blizzard fail, thanks for the over obvious reply though, obviously I use the better ring, what a barnstormer u are!
For most classes the new ring is about 15% of your overall damage in a Mythic+.
Not sure you can call it a “fail” and “not BiS”.
It is not for most classes. It is for some. Its a net loss for warlock amongst others.
