There is a lot of stuff I had forgotten or didn’t know since I started in mid BC.
Like Undead were an original race
1 graveyard per zone
you can hold your breath longer now
starting zone npcs were red
So what else? Were there RP realm originally? Could Tauren actually ride?
Poisons having charges and falling off when you zoned >_<
Starting zone NPC’s were red? No. But sometimes hunter pets would have red text over them (before they fixed it).
Undead was never a race in vanilla.
There were RP realms.
Tauren could always ride.
Are you referring to beta?
I’m not really understanding what you guys mean by “Undead was an original race.”
I think I remember there being undead in 2005…
Vanilla Alliance players know the pain of Deep Ocean, Vast Sea under the original breath timers.
There were originally RP realms, but RP-PvP was something added mid-Vanilla.
Tauren could ride mounts in Vanilla, but in beta they had an ability called Plainsrunning instead where they would pick up speed over time while running out of combat.
Yes they were. They were one of the four original Horde races, along with Tauren, Trolls, and Orcs.
Plainsrunning was a thing, but that didn’t last long.
Undead were one of the four original races on the Horde side.
I think they mean forsaken we’re classified as undead for the effects of spells and abilities for a time being.
No. The tree things in the Blood elf zone would attack me. The rest was just stuff I had heard.
There were some very bizzare UI things. Like you could cast AoE spells by clicking on an area in the mini-map. You could also separate a sum of gold and drag and drop it, but it didn’t actually do anything.
I’d imagine these two particular things probably won’t make it into Classic since they were pretty much useless.
With macros rogues can cheap shot and expose armor through sap. This allows you to start out with expose armor and some combo points on a single target.
There was the original tier 2 models which looked like regular armor.
“Undead” wasnt a thing. Forsaken being considered undead by holy spells WAS a beta thing, but not a vanilla thing.
Plainsrunning was also a beta thing, not a vanilla thing.
You’re splitting hairs. The four original Horde races were Tauren, Trolls, Orcs, and Undead. No one said they were going to roll a Forsaken warlock.
I don’t understand these people saying Undead wasn’t a race… Or do you just mean as far as being affected by spells against undead?
I played a rogue and did NOT know this - hoping I can do it in Classic, that sounds hawt.
The 1.12 client calls them Undead. Forsaken was merely the faction that the Horde aligned undead were a part of.
It would be like insisting they’re not Trolls, they’re Darkspear.
Yeah I played a rogue also and was unaware. Of course it won’t really be all that useful in BGs, but it’ll be great for WPvP.
Is a two point EA worth putting CS on DR? I would think this macro would be better for a CS > stealth > CS > SS > KS stun lock. If your target blows his trinket on the five point KS, then you can blind > stealth > sap and restart the same stun lock with CS and KS being off of DR.
Up to three points with talents if I’m not mistaken.
But yeah idk. It might not be worth it.
Guards in towns were similar lvl to the zones the town was in. I remember destroying the alliance town in ashenvale before I was lvl 60. Fun times.
Just mind the flight master, as they don’t have that same rule about being the same level as the zone =P
Flight paths weren’t originally linked together. Needed to get from Orgrimmar to Stonetalon or Desolace? You had to make a stop at the Crossroads.
