Good evening! I’m running Upper Reaches right now. I had a pet drop a few minutes ago. A Torghast Lurker. Not sure what mob or boss it dropped from as I didn’t notice it immediately. Also, the Runecarver doesn’t seem nearly as talkative. Anyone else noticed anything different?
Pets have been dropping off the last bosses since the beginning.
About Runecarver, it’s probably because you only got chests, not rares or event NPCs?
Oh okay. It was the first time I had seen a pet drop, and I had the general idea from the forums that pets or toys, etc never dropped in Torghast.
The Runecarver usually speaks frequently, “You are being hunted…” or several other phrases. He didn’t talk as much this time.
Oh well, I thought maybe something had changed but I guess not.

Cool I didn’t know pets dropped either.
You mean the talking head popup when there’s some sap to rescue? I mean if there’s nobody to rescue, there’s nothing to say. I ran UR earlier and all the floors had one of the chest type puzzles, so the Runecarver didn’t say anything to me at all.

Yup.
“You are being hunted… be wary” means a rare elite is nearby.
“Blah blah blah. Free them” means an interactive chained NPC is nearby.
He doesn’t say anything for a chest or Lost Dredger.
