jk. With all the talk of potentially adding content to classic. Heres what i think would be cool.
add new zones, raids and content, but dont change the characters. Keep the talent points the same, the level cap and the gear. Players want harder more challenging fights and we want to do it with our kick butt toons we’ve already built.
make my world buffs permanent
add features like, hey you’ve flasked 1000 times, your body has adjusted to the changes the effect is now permanent.
On the one hand, I’m not sure I agree permanent buffs like that are good. On the other hand, I’ve argued in the past that they could persist through death to help mitigate some of the behaviours that surround world buffs. It’s not a large step to making them permanent anyway since Ony/ZG buffs happen pretty much around the clock.
I actually like the idea of world buffs, I think they make the world of Classic a little more special; however, I think the fact that they’re so common makes them less special. I’m starting to re-think my stance on having them persist through death even.
I mean, if we have them all the time, what’s the point of having them at all? It’s just a shame because conceptionally, they’re pretty cool.
There are few changes that I would approve of. One would be increase drop rate of low level crafting materials (Wool, lesser monstones ect) so people can get them when it is level appropriate.
