Era is dead and the horde have all left. Alliance is easier to raid due to blessing of salvation.
Adding a totem of salvation for shamans would make horses raiding better and possibly entice people to return.
No changes are needed for era as itās demonstrated that people will keep returning to era after the newest classic server runs its course.
Good news though if you want to play with changes there is SoD and Anniversary that have added additional qol features into the game.

Just spit balling ideas to get some faction balance. Even before fresh, horde were outnumbered about 4 or 5 to 1 and the blessing of salvation is the difference.
Itās not qol issue, itās a distinct advantage for the alliance in raiding

Shamans already have that, itās called Tranquil Air. Usually see it in the caster group(s).

The sheer incapability of players to just watch a threat meter is rather astounding. It continues to boggle my mind.
a natural decline in population thanks to fresh does not mean era needs a bunch of changes

they just need to remove debuff limit and add annual aq40 gate opening and scourage invasions nothing else. i personally would like dual spec but half the playerbase would be mad about it so maybe a restricted dual spec.
Nah, little stuff like that is for the fresh servers. Era needs to remain unchanged for the people who want that

Terrible idea. Horde never needed that. Era is dying because thereās 20 wow versions to choose from, not because Horde needs āātotem of salvationāā which funnily enough already exists.

My pipe dream is that when anniversary realms move on to tbc, we can clone to era, and then anniversary rules will be applied to era. Dual spec, no debuff cap, and most importantly, no gdkp.

No way, classic era is fine, the vibe is good, the people are great.
Era should remain untouchedā¦ though I wouldnāt be upset if the new LFG tool made it inā¦
